I was born in Mississippi and I have lived here most of my life. I've never seen a Klan rally, I've never heard anything good about the Klan, I have never been asked to join the Klan or any kind of Nazi thing, my father was a veteran of WW2and hated the Nazis and the Japanese army for what they did in the south Pacific. My mom picked cotton and worked right along side of black people and drank water out of the same dipper as black people I grew up playing with black kids. People seem to forget about that or just don't know what it was really like in the south. The Democrat party ran everything in the south until 1983 or so, Google voter registration in any southern state from the 1870's to 1983 and you will find that the overwhelming majority of people in the south were registered Democrat. It's amazing to me that these young people don't know that. But what gives me hope is these young black conservative people on KZbin who want opportunity and safety. I hope Trump reaches out to these brave young black people. It takes courage to be a black conservative. Real courage.

Your lies were debunked by corporate media. Harris attended a histoically Black College. Her father was Black Jamaican. Trump ran on race. Trump is the one who ran on on white identity, whiteness and returning white men to a time they had all the power. If Trump hadn't talked about Harris's race it wouldn't have been an issue. Trump talked about poisoning the blood and being the enemy within. Trump started on deporting criminals and extended it to all races other than white men. Vance said he would make legal immigrants illegal and then deport them. Trump torpedoed the bipartisan border legislation so that he could run on immigration fear porn this election cycle. Trump wouldn't fix the problem when he was in office for four years last time. Trump exploited race and whiteness with the brilliance of Hitler.

We should be able to have a discussion without making everything about race. I have worked very hard, sacrificed a lot and have been fortunate. I can't say the same for everyone around me irrespective of their colour. I don't want to be treated differently based on my race - for good or for bad. Merit is important. Racial and identity politics is a societal cancer. What astounds me the most is the lack of self reflection and awareness with the race hustlers especially those in the media and politics. The nerve of Obama to scold black men to vote his anointed and the whole charade from celebrities like Oprah whose company took a fat cheque and Whoopie. All the lies and openly calling Trump Hitler (Adolf would roll in his unmarked grave) while doing all they could to incarcerate him - their biggest political opponent. I majored in animation hoping to be a part of the industry to tell motivating stories, like how art is supposed to be. But then Trump managed to beat the Democrats in 2016 and the fact they were mortified hearing that the rest of the country didn’t want the same candidate they insisted we have, exposed just how disconnected and compromised the entertainment industry has become. I tried to warn anyone that the woke ruined Hollywood and to not expect actual good movies for a while, a lot of people didn’t believe me at first, yet since 2020, I can’t think of ANY conversation being brought up with a new movie being released. Ironically the only movie I did want to watch recently, Regan with Dennis Quad, I couldn’t afford it. Anyways, came to the realization that the Democrats killed Hollywood, tried to hijack our country’s culture to weaponize it against us, that I didn’t want to be a part of any of this. It’s honestly made me so depressed, I haven’t had a fraction of the passion to create art since. The nerve someone told me was it was a burn out problem, and I kept insisting it wasn’t, it was a motivation factor. The woke culture killed the spirit of art.

My parents were once diehard democrats but became disillusioned with the democrat party in the late 1950’s. There are a lot more just like me, Adam & Drew then anyone can fathom. The last election looking at the political map of California was completely red except for most of the coastline. The state is becoming red again.

I am a live and let live person but the Democrats insulted and suffocated me. Fairness and meritocracy are cornerstones of this nation but DEMD have gone far left. I want them to come back to center as we need a good opposition. Just as extreme left is bad extreme right is bad also. I hope and pray President Yrump succeeds and god somehow speaks to his heart to put USA before his ego and his personal grievances. I was born and raised in San Francisco and also partially raised in Red Bluff. Don't forget that, although approximately 9.25 million Californians voted for Kamala Harris, over 6 million Californians voted for President Trump. I expected Harris to win California but she didn't completely sweep the state. There are millions of non-leftists in California. Leading up to the election, I saw a lot of Trump signs in the San Francisco Bay Area. When driving from the San Francisco Bay Area to Red Bluff (and points beyond Red Bluff in far northern California), all you saw were Trump signs everywhere for hundreds of miles. California may be considered crazy and I can totally understand why as I have lived in San Francisco and Berkeley. But there are a lot of common sense people out here too. And the blue begins to quickly fade to red as you cross massive swaths of land out in rural areas northeast of the San Francisco Bay Area. Many of us absolutely detest the radical woke leftists and their twisted agenda. I voted for Larry Elder during the 2021 California gubernatorial recall election. We aren't all radical leftists and, in fact, hate them perhaps even more than most people since we have been on the front lines of the devastation of our cities and state that has been promulgated by the leftists.

Adam’s finale answer on what people should be talking about with mental health at the tail end of the episode should be the promo clip of this interview. So amazing and well said. My family has prioritized the importance of daily chores and playing outside is for kids and teenagers without realizing how important it truly was for mental health until Covid hit and it seemed that everyone else’s kids were needing to be put on pills with added concern for possible self harm. We need to get kids away from social media addictions and the depression and narcissism it causes.

Sure,but the same 70million ppl still have the right to vote the way they voted. They are entitled to be wrong if they are wrong. You…it would seem,voted with the winning side. That’s great. You can’t force people to vote how u vote or think how you think. If you do start forcing ppl to think how you think and vote how you vote? THAT actually IS the end of your democracy.

I just think the amount of division is over kind of outlying issues. There is no understanding each other in this. I see that in my own family. If I just ask a question, they are all out against me. I didn't say any point of view, just ask questions and they don't want that, they want the echo chamber. Fact is, there is a lot of contradictory ideas and data out there and it's hard to navigate it without triggering someone emotionally. that's either side. I admitted to them that my algorithm affects my point of view, but also said it does the same for them. It's a rare person I can sit with and actually discuss abortion for example... I think it's a nuanced issue and it's also an outlier. I don't think a huge portion of the population has to go through that. It becomes a distraction. The divisiveness is more emotional than substantive. I don't know what the solution is? we've lost the ability to talk without getting all emotional. People need a place to vent I guess. In a way it's all a distraction. We live in the D.S.A (divided states of america). Not much unity anymore. I used to pledge allegiance in school. It eventually meant something to me.

Yup. I change my own oil , filters, hand wash and wax and other maintenance on my SUV. Every Sunday I do a four mile hike in the beautiful desert to clean out the wildlife water troughs that the star installed ( they were dangerously filthy). I don’t GrubHub - I cook. I do my own carpentry, plumbing and electric when I can. Most of the time I can. Adam is right. Stay engaged with your life. Everyone has become such a mindless, purposeless consumer. They don’t know what they are missing. It’s sad to watch 90% of Americans self destruct by various addictions.

I like Adam Because he experienced what I did. I was a union carpenter before I wound up working for 4 US Ambassadors to Iraq as a GS15 with the Dept of State. I started in construction, worked very hard, became a soldier, the Internal Affairs, criminal investigator, terrorist interrogator, and up and up. Ended up retiring as a federal LEO. But from humble beginnings right. I as a child NEVER knew what I wanted to be. I was so lucky as a child growing up middle class with a union UAW auto worker for a father. I thought I would be a paramedic fire fighter because all my uncles and cousins were. I tried it and it was WAY too slow for me. Anyway I worked hard and climbed the U.S. Army ladder and needed up working for 4 US Agencies, served in 4 wars or "conflicts" and just kept working hard. I ended up retiring at 40 years old with 3 federal pensions and healthcare benefits. But I worked so many construction fields while I was figuring it out. From electrical, carpentry, building, plumbing, welding, logging, cattle ranching, heavy equipment operating, inspecting, farmer owner, road construction business owner and on and on. I've done so many jobs and careers. And ended up in the Army then from there everything came together.

@notgunnadoit74612 ай бұрын
I don't know if I am proud. Im just glad I worked very hard and got to get to know some very awesome people from all over the world and all walks of life. I don't think I would trade my experiences for anyone else's. As far as the world being safer? I don't know if that's the case. War is very hard and your experiences don't just fade away, they actually stick with you. War isn't something I would want my son or my mother or my baby sister to experience. As a matter of fact I wouldn't want anyone to experience war except for the people who decided to send their troops to war - they should absolutely experience it. Maybe they wouldn't be so quick to send their soldiers to war? If there were a way we as humans could all get along and come to agreements over arguments not weapons that would be ideal. But I'm not sure the fundamentalist's and Ideologues want that? I wish all societies could experience what it's like to live in America and experience the freedom and opportunities we have. But there are countries in the world that DO NOT want freedom for their people especially their women, they want total control and oppression. It sucks.

When you think about racial equality and civil rights, which political party comes to mind? The Republicans? Or, the Democrats? Most people would probably say the Democrats. But this answer is incorrect. Since its founding in 1829, the Democratic Party has fought against every major civil rights initiative, and has a long history of discrimination. The Democratic Party defended slavery, started the Civil War, opposed Reconstruction, Nathan Bedford Forrest a democrat founded the Ku Klux Klan, imposed segregation, perpetrated lynchings, and fought against the civil rights acts of the 1950s and 1960s. In contrast, the Republican Party was founded in 1854 as an anti-slavery party. Abraham Lincoln a republican, Its mission was to stop the spread of slavery into the new western territories with the aim of abolishing it entirely. Abraham Lincoln, the 16th president of the United States, was shot by John Wilkes a democrat. The inconvenient truth .
