This is really cool. Are you doing the camera work with 2D transforms or is everyone we see here the raw output?
@BrentLeBlancCG
@BrentLeBlancCG 26 күн бұрын
It's a little bit of both. Sometimes I also take the output images into photoshop and rework them a little. Then I usually upscale to 4k, which gives me a little breathing room to camera pan so I can ramp up or ramp down camera moves and reframe.

I used ChatGPT for Prompt styling and ideation, Midjourney for image generation, Runway and Luma for Image to Video conversion. I will be making a process video that goes over how I'm doing all of this. Editing, Grading are just traditional method in Premiere. Sound design and Music is samples from Artlist

@@mrwz626 How about very short film.. haha. I'm really posting these as a way to showcase how artists can leverage AI to create things. I'm used to people ripping my head off at any mention of AI. @@BrentLeBlancCG Ah I see. Right on. Just some light jesting on my part. But man O man how right you are! Hollywood is crashing, but we do have the opportunity of a lifetime with AI & especially with Unreal Engine!. Imagine when you stared how much something like this would cost!. Now I will be creating a show with this!.s At a tiny fraction of the cost of time and money!

@@mrwz626 There will never be a replacement for insanely talented artists. What I think is likely to happen is that we just get alot of smaller studios making crazy amazing things. The traditional film making process is just insanely time consuming and costly. The people to benefit most will be artists, it is just the traditional studio setting will stop being commerically viable. We are about to enter an age of thousands of skeleton crew small studios making massive shows/film/experiences. Once the dust settles the big winners will be artists. They will shape the future of content creation. AI is just another tool to use and once its ethical that also means its commercial. The market will sort itself out. The future is bright.

I think it's hard for the AI to make the shots consistent. In the first shot there's a large open space in a coniferous forest where a person is building a campfire, but in the next shot the trees are closer and it's no longer an open space. Also in that shot the person just has long hair, but in the close-up shot it looks like she has some kind of hood on either side of her face other than hair. I'm not an AI expert, but will we ever be able to overcome these technical issues?
@BrentLeBlancCG
@BrentLeBlancCG Ай бұрын
Yes, this is totally achievable to control the outputs. It would just require you to use more ControlNet systems to guide it. I mostly just didn’t spend much time on that aspect. These are made for editing and sound design exercise than it is about the images. The goal of me making these is about creating a mood and a story that is just using images. I don’t claim to own or control the imagery very intensively. When using AI you just need to be clear on your intention and not try to pawn off AI as your own. The art here is in the composition of the narrative as a whole. How it’s arranged and edited. There will never be a replacement for the “hard way”. Collaboration with other artists will always be king. However those processes are very time consuming and expensive. AI can allow you to test things out and see where a story thread could go.

@@tom_paul_3d Thanks Tom for your reply. I think it’s intellectually dishonest to claim just by using tools you are stealing. The key is what is the intention. I made no claim these images are mine. The art in this project was the arrangement. Just as you would remixing a music video or using Google images for reference or photography of someone else’s building architecture. You will see no claim that I own the rights to anything presented. I created a story and arranged it with images to tell the story. I’m not selling it or doing this work for anyone else , but my own artistic exploration. It’s a dangerous mindset to not pursue things based on an ideology. I hope all the best for you and keep creating!
