When i was sold 2 of these i was asking for advice stating i wanted to make sure they would be fine i bought them 64L tank i feel like they are going to outgrow this soon i wish i took it on my behalf to do the research and check the facts rather than an independent fish shop telling me it would be fine. Im going to upgrade to 200L if they out grow this i will offer them to someone with a pond. So sad how under educated we are on these fish

I just got 4 in my 36gallon planted betta tank with neon tetras, ghost shrimp, a nerite snail, and a cappuccino spike snail. I have noticed the free bladder snails as well

I love this stuff and use it. One thing though I found out is that if you ever empty out your tank completely, the tank holds less water (with substrate already in) than stated. I have a 5 gallon aquarium and after I emptied it out and put in the substrate, it only holds 3.5 gallons of water. That was good to know to get accurate measurement of the Seachem Prime if you ever empty it out completely.

Hello. I have yellow water from adding Fluval substrate without washing it first like an idiot. And have been doing water changes three times a week to try and get rid of it. Can you tell me if this is also tannin water? And how long it will take to clear up. Water changes don’t seem to be diluteing at all

I kept Najas guadalupensis in aquarium for several years, and it was thriving. But this year, it's starting to decline instead of multiplying like before. Has anyone else experienced this? How long does Najas typically last through vegetative propagation, and what’s the best way to bring it back to health? I’m a bit lost and would really appreciate any advice! (I've read that Najas guadalupensis is usually considered an annual plant in nature, but it can last for several years in aquariums through vegetative propagation)

Help! I unplugged mine and when I plugged it back in it stopped working. I checked and the impellar is working and there is no debris as the filter is less than a month old but I cleaned just in case. There is no issues with the power strip and idk what else to do… I have 2 turtles so I really need it to work

I just made the switch in my 55G. Definitely the superior option. I already have driftwood, rocks, and anubias, so there's plenty of things for beneficial bacteria to cling.

I have my goldfish in a 13L tank the last 7 years on his own and he is doing well. I have rocks and plants in the tank with a low budget filter. I feed him twice a day 🙂 morning/evenings. I also do water changes twice a week. And I do a deep clean at least once a month.

i'm a noob and this video helped, BUT I want to add, how many people have setups like you? by that i mean pumps in normal households will be below the aquarium, we don't have shelves like you, you have shelves so you can have more aquariums as you are probably running a shop, normal households have eg a goldfish tank on a table/stand and we have no place to put the air pump, its not a shelf where we can rest it beside the tank thus it goes on the ground level p.s why don't you put the valve on if it makes no difference, wouldn't hurt
