From a non beer drinker, I enjoy all your reviews. I lived in SYD in 80's -90's and Marrickville was so drab & blah. How things change. You really should take up broadcasting - you have a natural talent - trust me, I am lawyer !!

You only apply the beer cost savings between your cans vs the keg beer toward the cost of the kegerator.

I don’t see why everyone loved Dunedin so much. When I was there it was freezing cold and raining (in summer) and there was literally nothing to do except see old houses and maybe a bird or two if you’re lucky (we weren’t). If you’re in a camper the only place you can overnight is a giant carpark in an industrial area behind the railway - everywhere else it’s banned to camp overnight. Add to this that the locals were pretty hostile, the broken glass everywhere and no interesting shops and I honestly don’t know why people really visit.
@donovankelly124 күн бұрын
Thank you for sharing your experience, it is unfortunate you didn’t have the best one. I could see it being difficult if you’re in a camper van. I do wonder why you’re saying “I honestly don’t know why people really visit” on a video that breaks down a lot of cool things that Dunedin and the area has to offer. Did you watch the video and disagree with all of the points? I ended up returning to Dunedin twice since this video was posted, once for a fantastic beer festival, and another time to show it to my parents and they found Dunedin extremely European and charming. It was one of their favourite cities in New Zealand. It also helps that everyone we spoke to was extremely friendly and the weather was pretty great.

Soooooo, we are now in Auwwwstrawlia. Well I am submitting a "remit to NZ Immigration & the Private Beer Makers", that you next entry to NZ will be 'monitored' and access to any of 'our delicious Hazzy B's', will be off limits. Yup - funny coloured tap water (as made by NZ and/or Dominion Breweries) from now on - they 'call it beer'. Next video are to contain shots of you wearing 'budgie smugglers' , on Bondi Beach, attempting to speak 'strine'.
@donovankelly1211 күн бұрын
Hahaha budgie smugglers. Jesus. This comment is just hilarious 😂 😂
@robinlecomte124210 күн бұрын
@@donovankelly12 If "budgie smugglers are not your thing"?? (Tony Abbott, former PM Australia has worn them on Bondi)- then how about a Borat/ Mankin swim suit?? Yup, can see the "picture" - 1 x Canadian Male (in swim suit) posing on Bondi beach, 1 x Aussie Hazzy Beer (not Kiwi) in right hand raised to shoulder height whilst being looked at (by you) with your left hand resting on left hip! - whilst partner tells you to stop "dribbling" and focus - and all those Sydney siders / and Life guards on the beach - "wonder what the hell you are up to"?? SO which swim suit - ?

Is great that you guys found out the lies that South Island is better than North Island. There are more lies about Auckland said it is just a typical concrete jungle riddle with crime.
@donovankelly1216 күн бұрын
Haha the lies... Yea I think I can agree the people from the South are very proud to be on the South and love their views of the landscapes and the lack of people. For me, I thought Auckland and Wellington were both extremely beautiful cities to look at. Once I got to know them, I liked em even more! Haha it did feel like Queen St. was the murder hub of the world when talking to certain people. I lived on Queen St. for a month and had nothing but great things to say.

LOVE DUNEDIN! My favorite NZ city! Went to Art school there. Lived there for 6 years. Very cool with so many creative NZers; playwrites, writers, artists, potters, actors, etc... it has a certain creative energy. Walked through the gardens to get to town. Wonderful. The town belt is unique and magical. Only parts of Wellington can compare. Good coverage and respect. Thanks.

As a true blue red blooded kiwi, you are in for a treat in Aussie. You'll need to watch a few classic movies like The Castle (and a few others) or tv show Kath and Kim before being accepted.
