Zolid work. Joyo, BM3.14 were consistently good. Others all had there moments.

That Joyo Vodoo really surprised me. Very impressed. I have a crappy Behringer SF300 Super Fuzz. Its said on youtube that it works great on bass, i dont think much of it. I run a Big Muff into an OD.

Something else to note... The headstock is the original "oversized" shape, similar to the early 60's & 70's Thunderbirds which adds mass but makes them prone to breaking off due to the narrow 1.5 nut. The post 1988 Gibsons had a slightly smaller headstock which was much more proportiante and reduced breakage. Also, the lower horn on this Epi is smaller than a standard Thunderbird, and the bird emblem is not in the correct position. It's purely cosmetic - but it just looks off.

Question I’ve been wanting to ask for a while. Do you use different pedals for light and heavy overdrive? Or is it the same pedal just different settings

Almost all my videos get flagged as "Copyright: Copyright-protected content found. The owner allows the content to be used but you can’t monetize your video." Most of your videos will still be public, but you won't be able to monetize them. Unfortunately some covers/backing tracks will be blocked worldwide and for that there's really nothing you can do.

(what is the make of your p-bass bridge pup?) - Wine Cellar makes a nice bass preamp in conjunction with mini class D power amplifiers (TPA3116, TPA3255) - could use more gain. What Caline needs to make for bass guitar is a 3 band parametric EQ

reason for not alternate picking the intro? I can't alternate pick this fast, but I also can't downpick this fast yet, so I don't know how should I approach practicing this 😆
@MyBassistChris26 күн бұрын
Down picking is a much stronger & consistent stroke, especially when it comes to palm muting. Try palm muting power chords slowly with alternate picking VS down picking and you will hear a big difference in consistency. There's a place for both alternate & downpicking depending on the song, but for this intro I would say down picking is the way to go. However if you're just trying to play this riff I would start with alternate picking and once you have the riff down you can try to down pick the entire thing. Hope this helps!
