Right, You all know how Buzz Lightyear in Toy Story the first film thought He was a certified space ranger? Yes, well... Can You imagine seeing Woody at first, thinking He was an actual certified sheriff officer, but then eventually realised that He's nothing more than just a toy that belongs to His owner Andy? I wonder how Woody would have taken it! 😮

I am sure Buzz Lightyear was based on Pete Maloy, the cop from Adam-12. If you watch that show, listening to his droning, professional demeanor, they are identical.

I have seen her on Graham Norton Show several times and she tells it like it is. She is very honest and not ashamed of things she’s done or gone through. She was on another interview earlier, and the interviewer mentioned something that she spoke about on Graham’s show. Miriam said that should not be mentioned on this interview, Graham’s show is different from this interview. I truly admire Miriam Margolyes.

Frank Oz pretty much knew what Jim Henson was going for with The Muppets. He was PRACTICALLY Jim's right hand when it came to The Muppets. And why not? Frank had worked with Jim Henson since 1963 up until Jim's untimely death in 1990.

I agree. If Mr. Jim Henson were still alive he would have told Disney off by now. 🤦🏾‍♀️

My favorite heroes of the past, sometimes in the present, are perfectionists. That’s what inspires me is what to do to break a fence, break the fourth wall, never being determined nor pigeonholed by some negative political scumbags, saying to me, “You’ll never be as creative as these guys were,” and create something combining what was from old-fashioned technology from how The Lumiere Brothers to Georges Melies to D.W. Griffith to Charlie Chaplin to Robert Wiene and F.W. Murnau and Fritz Lang to Walt Disney to Walter Lantz to Max Fleischer to Chuck Jones, Robert Clampett, Fritz Freleng, Tex Avery to William Hanna and Joseph Barbera to Ray Harryhausen and Willis O’Brien, to Jim Henson and Frank Oz; To the next generation of Francis Ford Coppola, Steven Spielberg, George Lucas, Martin Scorsese, Robert Zemeckis, Tim Burton, James Cameron, Guillermo Del Toro; Just everything upon looking back at the folks who created magic a long time ago, who broke that fence and don’t stand a chance to others who are blind and stayed in their own boxes, with no way out, and with no talent… Truly makes me the only one that stands up to make the brilliant magical comeback to what these people did. That’s why reading documents or watching things you’ve never witnessed before, is what makes the magic out there flow. That’s what I sense in Jim Henson’s work, not just him, but my other favorite heroes as well and I believe there’s a way to show the political bastards who don’t know how to run anything, like the way that Charlie Chaplin is competing against the predictions of the press. The criticism shows me and my side of my autism spectrum is how I see executives and filmmakers in Hollywood are dumb enough to continue financing their conglomerate money waste films and television series for adults and kids to make them feel down. That’s why I prefer studying the past, to make imagination flow into the future. Some filmmakers respect the past, while others just don’t give a damn about it! I care deeply about what’s scary, authentic, meaningful, emotional, odd and unusual, all those things and there’s no such thing as normalcy, which that word disgusts me more because what’s normal about our world. We get muppets, animation interaction, illustrative dimensions we’ve never been before. And that’s a blessing! I’m proud to call Jim Henson one of my heroes and he stands out in my hall of portraits of my heroes in my head, alongside Walt Disney, Fred Rogers, Steven Spielberg, Tim Burton, Georges Melies, and many others. I hope God in Heaven placed the muppets as one of the greatest cleanest comedians, alongside with Robin Williams and Gene Wilder, Buster Keaton, among so much more. There terrific!
