I'm not sure if I'm an unpopular opinion here, but just go to goodneighbor and save just before attempting to steal the fat man and mini-nukes. That way, if they catch you, just reload from that save. Then you are fully equipped with enough firepower to fricking 1-tap the mirelurk queen. It's so easy, but no one thinks of the fat man just sitting there. It's because it's pretty hard to steal it. And hell only knows no one is buying that shit. The price they put on it is like 10x markup. You might want to have the sneaky perk for it too. It raises chances of stealing it successfully to 100% as long as you are crouching and the top of your screen says [hidden]

This is a need to know.

The first one is close but a little off. You can meet the Jarl of Whiterun you just can’t turn in the dragon stone. Turning in the dragon stone triggers the first dragon aside from the one in Helgen and the quest associated with it. From a narrative standpoint the game seems to want that to be when you discover your Dragonborn powers so they can’t run the risk of you accidentally stumbling into another dragon and absorbing its soul prior to that. Like you said it locks you out of the main storyline, but it also locks you out of the civil war storyline. When you go to deliver Ulfrics axe to the Jarl of Whiterun he tells you that he has to sort out this dragon business before entertaining anything else. This despite the fact that there hasn’t actually been another dragon attack since Helgen lol.

Your entire suite of criticisms could have been ascertained at 10, 20, 50, or 100 hours. 500 is heinous, and I really, truly, genuinely hope you're lying about your play time in order to have more authority, but doing so is unnecessary, we all know this game is a huge dud, despite having a few redeeming qualities. Bethesda just shit out a broken, half fleshed out game, gave themselves all pats on the back for making a "new" game that isn't ES or Fallout, and didn't actually do much of anything at all. Actually, my first time in markarth was when I got drunk with a daedric prince, trashed a temple, stole a goat, and married a hagraven.

something else I found out is that during the Forsworn Conspiracy quest, when you are sent to Cidhna Mine, if instead of talking to the prisoners you just kill them, it will change the quest outcome and objectives. You will then be tasked with killing Madanach and you can calm him with a spell as well and tell him that you killed all of his forsworn buddies and that He is next. Also when you exit the mine, Thonar Silverblood will have a different reaction and will actually give you his family ring which allows you to improve weapons and armors at forges for 15-35% better.
