In my opinion I don't like the Copper rivets and no gusset and no soft leather lining it makes it look cheap but that just my opinion. I've been doing leather work for 40 years so I do have a minute or two of experience but other than that good job.

@@boothillcustomleather8652 you didn't see me say that I'm better than anyone else however 40 years experience separates beginners from professionals in any profession. I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings.one can always lurn something from others.have a good day.

@Roger. Backus with your experience, you should know that they often use copper rivets in holstermaking and that many holsters were lined with softer leather back in the days (the western era). My feelings isn't hurt, I just knows alot about western leather.

I’m just getting in to leather work and stumbled onto your video. What an amazing holster, beautiful piece of work. My only question, at the very end you sewed two to three stitches, holding the part of the holster that holds the gun, to the back of the loop of the holster that the gun holster slides down through. When you sewed it together, you now can’t pull the gun holster out of the loop you made, in order for it to attach over the belt. How will it work with the stitch holding it together?
@boothillcustomleather8652
@boothillcustomleather8652 Жыл бұрын
I do it so the holster can't slide up when the gun is drawn. You don't need to pull the holster to attach it over the belt, just slide the belt through
