Most painful escooter tyre change ever. Most dualtrons have split rims. Where there is not a split rim there should be a "valley" between the rims to allow the tyre to go in on one side and over the rim on the other. This rim is neither, making it very difficult

Nice video but you really should change the title. You're not replacing the wheel, you're replacing the tire. These are two very different things, in my case I need to replace the entire wheel including the cables and your video here that google gave me as the first result isn't really helpful with that. No criticism of your video as such, it's a great video to show how to replace the tire.

Hi all. I have a problem that has arisen as a result of carrying out this procedure. When removing the existing tubeless tyre, a few specks of the sticky black gunk from the tyre fell onto my carpet. I tried to remove it using one or two different products but the result is I have an area on my carpet that’s slightly darker than it should be where I tried to remove it. I am highly annoyed and at a loss to know what I can do to get it out of my carpet. The first port of call to have any hope of removing it is to establish what this tarry gunk is composed of? Then, I can try to see if I can find a product that is designed to tackle that substance. Does anyone know what the gunk is composed of?

This is ridiculous, no wonder the person on offer up is selling it for cheap with a popped rear tire which comes with the replacement tire un installed lol. Dodged me a hard time.

Excellent!! Use this video!! I was struggling to get the tire changed on my fiat electric scooter! This video helped so much. Please get the proper tire tube like he has in the video. I made the mistake of getting the curved valve on the tube and when I put it back on and tried to move the wheel it was hitting the fork of the scooter so I had to hacksaw about half of the threading off to get it to move. Don’t hack more or you can’t get the cap to stay. I should have clicked the link he has in the video and bought what he got. Anyway, Great video! Thanks

This doesn't work. Even if you get the Tire on the Scooter, you won't get it inflated, because it is deformed. Even with a pump for Cars on Gasstations this does not work. Its just Fraud.

This Video is a Scam. It does not work like that. To remove the Tire is eaay, but to get the new one back on, is not possible without secific machinery. If you do it with Tools, you just destroy the new Tire.

WTH so a flat tyre on one of these means a new scooter is needed.

I just spent a half hour of prying with a big husky flat head. No heat or soap and its not on there right. This definitely helped and although i have no heat i do have soap! Also i took the motor out for the front made it easier!

How to install the tubeless valve ?

Had bought some winter tires for this, after seeing this i dont know that its even worth the trouble. Its almost like they didnt want anyone to do repairs themselves lol. Ill change the front tire and thatll be good enough

standing on the wheel is a game changer. also you need 2 iron helpers. cant do my back wheel rn because I cant laose a screw. you need like 5 different screwdrivers thats crazy

Hey guys! Thanks for the video. Made things easy. One thing to note. A pair of channel locks with a C bite will make quick work of the bond that the tire has. Way faster than clamps, and you don't need a bench. Will need to be careful of scratches!

Amazing tutorial but the repair is so ass that I gave up (I can engine swap a car, no problem but this is impossible lol) so I'll take it to a shop on Monday

I just put the tire on then watched the rest of the video I missed step 14....noe I have to try n get this tire back off again!

Great video. I did however boil my tire for close to an hour. Also used a good amount of Dawn dish soap to pry it on. Trick was to get one side on, flip it over and do the other side with the pry bar and screwdriver. I used a solid tire to replace the back tire on my son’s Phantom GoGo scooter from Costco. Getting the original tire off was hard. Ended up cutting it off.
