I'm not quite done with this video, but I am SO GLAD it concentrates on vorrei as an example. One thing I will add, when speaking with Spanish speakers, and jokingly using the word burro, I was able to roll my R's, when I didn't overthink it -- EDIT, I was pronouncing vorrei more or less correctly before even finishing the video when I restarted it. I'm sure it will take additional practice, but thank you so much!!! (BTW since you ask at the end, I've only been learning Italian for 2 months, and I had been telling various Italian teachers, vorrei had been my hardest word to pronounce)

Custom dresses are the best. I had one when I got married. It was because I was so short that I just didn't look good in any of the dresses that were in the shops. My Mom heard of a lady who made custom dresses out of her home. It turned out beautiful and back in the 70's it only cost me a little more than the price of the material at $125. She also made dresses for all my bridesmaids and the flower girl. Their dresses were Italian Velvet (winter wedding) cost them each $40. It's too bad she was gone when my niece got married. She was even shorter than I was and while my sister got a good deal on her dress at David's Bridal, the alterations that needed to be done cost as much as the dress did.

Per esempio per ogni nuova parola che apprendo in realtà ne devo imparare due: una come si scrive e l'altra come si pronuncia. L'altro paradosso è che l'inglese sia oggi la lingua più diffusa come lingua di comunicazione nell'ambito scientifico, essendo però la lingua antiscientifica più assoluta per quell'empirismo fuori da ogni regola (infatti lo sforzo della scienza è anche quello di analizzare i vari fenomeni per scoprire la legge, cioè la regola, che li governa).

Oh my gracious you have no idea how much this helped me. I'm learning Spanish and have been reading countless articles on how to do this and they all say the same thing "just put your tongue on the ridge in your mouth and blow" or "just vibrate your tongue against your mouth" and I was always so confused. I didn't even know what ridge they were all talking about, but with the example of "better" now I know!! I've been practicing for a little, and I can FINALLY roll my r's!! Thank you so so much!!
