Yep. Just have not recorded anything because GoPro always fails or overheats. Making videos takes soooooo much time to produce.

Yeah, up here in the northeast lots of farmland is being lost to "solar farms". The cover acres with the panels that will last a few years then in 10ish years be abandoned.

As you work towards gaining your PPL you think you have an idea of the doors that aviation will open for you and your family. Impossible to imagine the piece of mind, feeling of accomplishment and the rewarding experience of sharing a flight with others. Thanks for posting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@LarjoskiFlyingAway9 ай бұрын
It can open doors if your family will fly with you. 😊 Sharing flights and the aviation community can be very rewarding. Thanks for watching.

You could do both, get a hamburger, hike, and also get the Botox. But I would say skip the martini. There is actually a little store next to the park that has homemade barbecue and an assortment of classic sodas (pop)

Reporting "you have them on radar" is useless information and not approved language. Probably should drop that.
@LarjoskiFlyingAway6 ай бұрын
Yep and I did. But I still have pilot friends that say that they have traffic on radar, fish finder etc.
@FlyingGuy6 ай бұрын
@@LarjoskiFlyingAway Your pilot friends are wrong and hopefully you arent getting any other habits from them. Sorry to sound like I am picking on you. There seems to be this whole new useless language that I hear on the radio and it is mostly young pilots, most likely taught to them by young inexperienced CFIs. Like the constant radio chatter where they are going to taxi to at an uncontrolled field or the useless, "Last call" pronouncement. This kind of chatter wastes a very limited radio bandwidth at a busy non-towered airport. Good luck in your flying!!

I ALWAYS screw up taxi read backs. I felt you in this video. I’m going to be going for my solo soon according to my cfi. I feel confident in everything BUT taxi read backs. No matter if I try to write it down,study the taxi diagrams before the flight, for some reason this is hell for me. Lol

You will be fine. Always be ready to write. Taxi slow and look for the taxi way signs. Ask for a progressive and don’t be shy. Good luck. 👍

I have watched a few of your videos and really enjoy them. As an Aviation Security worker for over 38 years, I was in the thick of enjoying where I was, but was never able to have the opportunity to do what you have achieved. I really get what you are saying though. Watching this, I felt a real urge to reach out and say, don't worry because I care and I'd have your back if I could - and I'm sure I would not be the only one, judging by the responses you have received here. I am in awe of you and I'm sitting here smiling and enjoying every minute of your videos and story. Please keep them coming and please know that we care and for me at least, watching your videos and following your story gives me a wonderful outlet from the hum drum of life. This week, after jumping through lots of military hoops, I must finally lay my Mother to rest, along side her husband. But thank you for this week, giving me some release and making me smile and giving us all enjoyment with your story and your thoughts. All the best to you from across The Pond. Lee
