I cured my ocd 110% . By simple sitting sound of silence meditation also called . Doing nothing meditation. Not doing anything just sitting in any one posture you are comfortable with.

I day dream alot 😢 every day even twice or thrice in a day .. actually my whole day goes in day dreaming ..From waking up till going to sleep I would be creating some fake senerio and would leave in that ,some of which even I know that it can never be true And untill today I wasn't aware of that it is some mental problem 😢 Now I realise why I loose interest in everything very fast for eg. Once I was planning to take my family to Goa and I was very excited. whole day I day dreamed about that and the very next day I lost all my interest and this type of things had happened with be alot Now I need to work on this

I had this problem, but I cured it. If you truly want to get rid of it then don't try to fight it. See, it's like darkness, Do you fight the darkness ? No! You just simply turn the light ON, and BOOM ! Darkness's gone. Darkness is being referred here as your compulsive daydream patterns that you've accumulated unconsciously. And the light is here your "awareness". So don't try to forcefully fight it. Instead just try to level up your awareness every single day. And just like this it will slowly disappear. So how do you cultivate awareness ? Well, if you think you're too messed up with your daydreaming patterns then the best way is to start with physical awareness. You have to perform intense physical activity for a few months. This will itself burn up many compulsive patterns. Only after this you will be able to sit quietly and meditate. Most people cannot sit still if they do not first go through some intense activity. After that, simply sitting still and breathing will destroy a large volume of unconscious patterns. So after that, start meditating in a quiet place for hours daily. This will activate your energy systems in a certain way that you will touch that deeper dimension of awareness. After this, tons of unconscious patterns will begin to collapse and the subconscious mind will start reprogramming. With great enthusiasm and energy, you will bounce back to life. This is how you beat maladaptive daydreaming. It will not be easy but it will definitely be worth it. I'm experiencing the same . People think I'm mentally unstable, extremely introverted , etc. This concern has transformed me into extremely introverted, inability to face the real world, always making excuses to stay away from people,lack of concentration, i often smile and suddenly reply to to person in my fantasy which makes people confirmed that i really am not normal.😢😢
