Gotta say, my primer pockets usually give out before I worry about splitting necks. Never had a split neck on any of my cartridges but have had times where primers were seated and then came right back out and fell on the bench. I am sure there is a benefit to annealing but have yet to really see it show on the target.

so me i am blind, been so since aug 8th 2011, it don't matter how. before i went blind i could shoot as good as any i knew and make impossible shots more often than not. but today, i am limited to 10 yards , making 47 out of 50 shots hit completely blind. so , i had my screen reader read every comment here. and i plan on listening to your videos. seems everyone respects what you are saying. funny how your voice sounds like mine. but if you ever find yourself just west of dallas and just east of ft worth, get in touch. i have a challenge i would like you to accept to prove to those who think you don't know jack that you do. it is called the 5 gallon bucket test. and it goes like this, we each pick any of my air rifles and you can shoot 10 shots before you put the bucket over your head to get a feel for it. and then you get 50 shots with a bucket on your head and unable to see the target at all. you vs me a person that has been shooting completely blind for a dozen years. and if you even come close, no one will question you ever again. and by the way, my handle here on youtube is the last word @airgunz_miklitia. and you are welcome here , with full respect sir.

I HAVE A VERY IMPORTANT QUESTION ....... If brass is over annealed, can you tumble in steel rods for say 3 hours to harden it back up?
@deeeeeeps

Resizing hardens it by miles beyond what tumbling can do.

Bronze brushes do not damage the barrel, but they are just to loosen the carbon and prevent a carbon ring from forming. You do NOT need to get all the carbon out, and if its a stainless steel barrel you should only clean it every 100 rounds or so. Do not get obsessive about cleaning and dont use a borescope all the time

I've been following your experiences and content for over a decade going back to some defunct precision rifle forums. You have consistently challenged people to get out and shoot rather than spend time online. Experience reveals reality as opposed to untested theory as you advocate. Have used your advice and seen the results for myself. Zero Force Firing Position was huge for me. Everything equipment related followed that. Thank you.

The guy has a point. World is full of watermelons who adopt everything they find on KZbin as 100% gospel and stop there. Ask someone like this for advice and they share a KZbin link. Or you must be a world champion or Delta Force Team 99 Elite Master Warrior to know anything. Lesson here is that people need to test and experiment for themselves using a scientific approach. It's a good thing to be skeptical of everything and everyone. Then we all put our findings out into the world for peer review, criticize and accept criticism with maturity, then we get closer to truth.

I was lucky to find you early as I got into this and started reloading. Picked up some great tips that cleaned up some of my early processes and now I take everything I hear from you and go and test it for myself. Majority of the time, it works well. Maybe not everything is going to work for every single person, but the information you share is vastly superior to most out there and will help out the great majority of people. I know I can trust in my CPS and when I can afford the next big upgrade, I am going to test out the PrimeWhere system as well. Anything that can help eliminate errors and variations is a great tool in my meager opinion. Appreciate that you do this, Greg! Have a great Memorial weekend!!

I overall enjoy your content. I like that you come at it from the varmint hunters perspective. My goal with everything I do reloading etc is to make first round hits on varmints at longer and longer ranges. Everyone else on youtube is fclass, benchrest, PRS, or ELR.

Hi Greg, don't worry about the haters; instead, let's pray for them. Truly, it's a sad state they must be in. Besides, there are many of us who gain insight from you. For me, I'm usually able to combine it with what I already know to move the needle in a positive direction and shoot smaller. Likewise, there's many things you describe that I've already found to be true in my own right. Honestly, I take what I can from you and others and test it to see if it can work it into my own system to better myself. If even, mostly, I can rationalize what you often say to be reasonable or true. However, if not, I'll test. I'm not sure why, but this episode brings to mind Noah for me. Anyway, keep mixing your content with Jesus, and I'll always stand with you. Praise God!

Greg hello. Personally your the last person that needs to explain themselves in the world of shooting. You offer your information, others can listen or not. Any information is always one step more possitive in a learning cure. Even if you heard it 100x's over. I have always enjoyed a vieo you one's shared, "stop competiting", If I remember it correctly. If one does not have the means or chances to compete all the time, it does not make any less knowledgeable. By the way if you could ever discuss Stress Free bedding for rifles , I would love to hear you take on it.

I agree with you wholeheartedly, but I think a lot of people (viewers) use this type of Content to take short cuts in learning or becoming an (expert) on a particular subject, like reloading. This simply isn't possible in my opinion. You do have to put in the work. You have to take advise from guys like you and TEST it with your own reloading practices to prove if something works for you. If it doesn't work out, you don't go and bash the creator for simple making a video of his findings or best practices. You move own. To be honest I don't agree with some of the things you have made videos on, one being the "Neck Tension" video or not calling it Neck Tension. I still don't agree with you on that but I not going to call in to question your creds because of it. (BTW I went back to watch it and can't seem to find it). I said all that to say this. We all need to do what is right and good and love your neighbor. If we did this the world would be a wonderful place.
