It was the British who gave Hitler the idea for concentration camps. They rounded up all the elderly, the women and the children from the Boer farms and put them into camps where disease and starvation took it's toll. It only stopped when an English woman who witnessed the camps reported what was happening when she returned to London.

De oude Hollandse mentaliteit. Staan voor je gezin en volk. Zo nodig tot de door erop volgt. Helaas is dat in Nederland niet meer aan de orde. En dat stemt droevig. Dus Boer, houdt deze tradities hoog.

It was the Boer's great misfortune that they lived on one of the largest gold deposits in the world and the ruthless bankers and the City of London wanted it. The British Army was the tool used to get control of it. Those same powers still control it today and much of the mineral wealth of the rest of Africa also. The ordinary people, regardless of race, never matter to these people.

The soldier at 2:19 on the right with the metal tin at his waist looks familiar, I think he was in some other prisoner of war footage that was taken by the Soviets. Thanks for uploading

" Ons Sal lewe want die Vader het so gesê" today I live where my grandfather's and great ancestors lived, when the British came they rose and fought the Empire. They Never bowed down to British emperialism. Many were taken to Silon and other places abroad for not submitting to British authority. Persecuted, murdered, exiled and empoveraged, Yet they never surrendered, they remained true to the old ways and lived the traditional way.. Today I live where they walked and fought and hunted.. Today the phrase my grandmother taught me lives through me" We will live because the Father said so"

Whats forgotten is JG 27 were not on their own, 3 claims were made by III/JG53, so including the 6 by Marseille and one by II/JG27 we arrive at the 10 in total. additionally, I./StG 3 lost at least 3 Ju 87s over Bir Hakeim.

Total Wehrmacht casualties through April 30, 1945 amounted to 11,135,500, including 6,035,000 wounded. Of these, nearly 9,000,000 fell in the East. Casualties of the German armed forces at the end of the war totaled 13,488,000 (75% of the mobilized forces and 46% of the male population of Germany in 1939). Of these, 10,758,000 fell or were taken prisoner in the East. Today, the austere inscription "dead in the East" carved on countless thousands of tombstones in scores of German cemeteries serve as mute witnesses to the carnage in the East, where the will and strength of the Wehrmacht perished. "When Titans Clashed" David M. Glantz In Germany there were 6.9 million deaths; 5.3 million were military. The Russians killed some 4.7 million German fighters, including 474,967 who died in Soviet captivity; They also killed a very high number of civilians. For their part, the Western Allies killed nearly half a million German soldiers and there were more than two hundred thousand civilian victims of air raids.[26] Russia lost twenty-seven million people; China, at a minimum of fifteen million "All Hell Let Loose" Max Hastings
