My first memory ever in my life was my baptism at the Catholic Church. I was a distraught child going headfirst into a gold bowl, hearing a priest reciting ritualistic prayer. What I'm trying to say is that it takes time to find a serious partner. It took me almost 6 years. Some people get lucky even quicker. It might take others 12 years.
