I've done that. Gen x here lol. I have priorities and being alive this long means I need a job with specific benefits because I will work hard regardless, but I want to profit from my hard work.

Why does Gen X always get classified in the same as the baby boomer generation. We Gen.X ain't that old!!.....(yet)😅

I thought for sure that the baby boomer generation would be the ones who say "don't" and that's it, but I guess I'm a little more old school than I thought then.👍🏼

I'm a millennial and I've had so many jobs until I've got tired of the qualifications question that for the last 5+ years never updated or used resumes again! I'm in the business of making money and make gen z, millennials and boomers happy!

I was born in 1997 and i knew better 😂 partially because my mother wasnt worth shit and i strived to be better (n i DID, got a respected job, didn't rely on child support and picked thr correct life partner with ZERO help from her... or my father. ..plus i Didnt want to hear her bitch about chores)

I am a boomer, I talked back to my dad, one time. Never tried it again.
@Jaxmusicgal23Сағат бұрын
The baby boomer one should only be for Gen X because Gen X this way, but most of the boomers I know would’ve worked the overtime with the idea that it would “ pay off later” as a promotion or pay raise… The reason why all the generations under them won’t do that is the boomers in charge now don’t give us the promotions when we bust our butts for them and we’ve learned that so we don’t work overtime . The sad thing is if a lot of contracts require you to work overtime if they ask it without pay … makes what you are earning worth less the more hours you work past full-time 40 hours.

Elementary school in 1979-80, 4th grade, The school made me sit in my desk right outside the lunchroom doorway all day for a whole week of school, so humiliating, especially when my older sister and her classmates lunch time. The violation? I had brought an electronic handheld football game to class and the boy I lent it to did not give it back before the substitute teacher saw it. There was a rule of no electronic game devices brought by students to school. And worse punishment if it was a substitute teacher. 2 years before, one kid did get paddled by the principal. They had that punishment still possible the whole time I was in school. In high school, The history teacher was well known for violently slamming a wooden baseball bat down onto any desk with a napping student in it. Never hit a kid. But one guy woke up with such a jump that his desk jumped up too and fell over sideways. He was one of the most liked teachers in the large high school. Very effective at teaching history too & motivating good grades.

My Mom once punch me in the chest in the hallway and I landed on my behind like what happened. Never even saw it coming. It was like Michael Jai White's non telegraphed punch.😂. I don't even remember what I said. I was 18. That's how I learned to think before I speak. First I would never throw a phone Second she would have laid me out before the phone got across the room. It would have been like dragonballZ.
