Can you speak to the manual gearbox slipping out of 3rd gear at all? I’m looking at buying this model, just in 2 door… only 45k miles but during the test drive it popped out of 3rd gear once. I’ve read online these models can have issues with the manual?

I have same exact car 2016 and already gone through two steering rack repairs; and it's not cheap $2-3k each time. First repair was at ~60k miles, second time was at ~73k miles.

Can you indicate where underneath the car you unscrewed all those screws. There are so many screws there. Since you are showing people how to do it, people watching this do not know. Those who know don't watch it. Hope this makes sense to you.

For the adhesive leftover from the rear badges you can used a rubber wheel attachemnt on a drill to knock off that old adhesive. Be careful to not let it get too hot because it will chip the paint. Also unfortunately on these the badges always take paint with them.

This one more reliable
@EthanJohnsonWildlife5 ай бұрын
@@LockandRoad eh not necessarily. 3.3L makes 4 cylinder power, not much difference in fuel economy, and the 3.5 is debatably more reliable. My 3.5l has never given me a problem so I’m biased on that but from googling around people generally say the reliability is the same or the 3.5 has a slight edge. Don’t get me wrong the 3.3L is a great motor just would of liked more power out of it.

My Honda accord '07 LX is by far the best car I've ever owned, and I've had at least 13 in my whole life. Everything from Buick to VW, Acura, Toyota corolla and camry, Saturn, Mercedes, and more. I got my Accord at auction for 2 grand, it had 50,000 miles on it and had been garaged its whole life. The previous owner must have used it once a week to drive to the grocery store and back lol I got so lucky with this car and the fact that it came in my favorite "car color " which is white, was the cherry on top. Besides the Honda, I also own a Mercedes, and I can honestly say that the Honda is better and more reliable than the Mercedes will ever be 😢 if you ever come across one of these, especially with low mileage, jump on it! You will NOT regret it. Between the years of 2000 and 2015, the '07 is the best looking car. The rear lights are beautiful, they remind me of the lights on an older model Mercedes, she drives like a champ 🏆 couldn't rep this car any harder ❤ best car ever!!!🎉

Beautiful color! I had a 2006 silver Solara - not even 100,000 miles, and someone totaled it last year. I loved that car. I even had the headlights professionally restored. Bought it for the sportier look but the Camry engine! Glad you get to keep yours from now on! Solaras are a dying breed! Saw the cracking dash - this was a widespread issue on many toyotas for several years (Avalons, Camrys, Lexus models, etc). Mine had just started to crack - I tried to protect it from the few hot days we have here in Oregon, but it happened anyway!

Nice car. Great story. I have( wife’s) a 2006 Solara SLE 3.3L, purchased in 6/2005 now @ 93K miles. I always thought it is Lexus like. In 2015 Toyota replaced the dash because it was cracking. Solid car. We have had no issues. One timing belt change. It’s paid for and we plan on driving it for several more years.

0-60 in 7.2sec in the 4 banger. You just have to know how to launch it and not be in high elevation. And yeah. 7.2 is decent/average for a 2.5L naturally aspirated 3200lb midsize econo-car. It ain't gonna win you any races, but 1ar-fe can take a beating!
@rstuff160510 ай бұрын
That is very decent for a 2.5L did you have any automatic tranny issues when accelerating. Like if I take off then 2nd gear seem to be slow from 40-60. Or in s3 while merging I have to let off then give it half throttle to get it to go
