@AnthonyJames19833 жыл бұрын
For a mid-size sedan, that is an incredibly fast acceleration time. 0-60 in 5.5 secs. A $28,000 car keep in mind 👍 I had a 2000 Ford Contour SVT that had the SVT Duratec 2.5L V6 manual that did 0-60 in 5.5 secs. But it was smaller than an Accord.

Everyone with negative comments about this car forget that ITS A FAMILY SEDAN AND NOT A TRACK VEHICLE! This car is more than capable of hauling the kids, running errands, taking the kids to soccer practice and having a little fun on the highway and those occasional twisties.

Hondata reflash and you’ll be all set.
@thatoneotherotherguy6 жыл бұрын
I am curious how high HP and torque numbers will get, while still staying reliable, with a Hondata flash. The boost leaves more on the table than an N/A V6, and Honda has generally been keeping the power numbers conservative in the name of "longetivity" (their words) on these turbo 4-poppers. I'm thinking nearly or right around 300hp wouldn't harm the long term dependability of these 2.0's.
@fahmidnd26 жыл бұрын
Ryan you’ll get some good numbers and it will be reliable with hondata but I haven’t seen any good videos with a difference. Still planning on getting the tune in my 2.0

4:46 When you shift from 4th to 6th without double clutching, it looks like, did the gearbox make that funny sound? I've always seen Honda guys debate on the need to when skipping gears both up and/or down. I personally double clutch for my own "safety", but some people will disagree due to a modernized gearbox's synchronizers being well made enough to handle it.
@7viewerlogic6706 жыл бұрын
I wonder what that noise was... I double clutch with my '12 4 cylinder because it hangs on to its RPM's for so long. Better practice in general to double clutch when skipping gears.

I also changed to 19" HFP wheels and Pirelli tires with a 1in suspension drop.

That gem of a 3.5L V6 in the 9th gens is also generally accepted as being underrated on HP from the factory. It's quick and sounds great at any RPM. I can’t speak for the automatic since I have yet to drive one but the manual is really fun. The automatic might be a tad quicker since its gearing is different with the 10 speed and it also has the full speed range for adaptive cruise, but I would imagine the manual is still more engaging to drive.
@beb15276 жыл бұрын
There are two trains of thought here. 1. With a turbocharged engine you're often better off with the AT because you don't lose boost between shifts. My daily driver is the prior generation Accord with an AT and V6. Even though (for the V6) the AT beats the manual in gas mileage, and is near even in acceleration, I'm constantly longing for the manual. 2. Even though the AT with the 2.0 is probably the better combination, how many more years will a car like this even have the manual option? It may be now or never. If it were my decision, it wouldn't be an easy one. Good luck

600 miles is good for the tires and brakes, but engine needs 3000 miles, and the clutch needs roughly 1600 miles. I would not suggest doing repeated full throttle acceleration until the 3000 miles is up, and shifts should be smooth and unabusive until the clutch is fully worn in. at least you didn't dump the clutch off the line, but shifts into second were abusive for such a new car. good shifting though!

I have the 2013 3.5 liter coupe and it’s about 5.2 seconds to 60, with an AEM cold air intake. I have the AT too.

Scott Green I have the 13 3.5L 6Speed Coupe it's like 4.9 seconds 0-60 for me. With cold air intake and single exit free flow exhaust. No 🙀 either. Bout to do 3inch single exit.

I might have subscribed if you got over to the right lane after you had passed that truck at the end but not only did you cut someone off you just stayed in that lane after the right was clear and for that reason no subscribe as well as people on the road that drive this way with no consideration of other traffic is what pisses me off granted by our may be good by the fastest at that second I guarantee that there will be a faster car sooner or later coming from behind and there you will be sitting on your add in the left lane anyways cool car
