Fcuk all clips with cyclists. You have to understand they aren't gas gusling cars and just trying to get to A to B. I don't care if you get frustrated with them, you do know fuel is running out.

Nope, sorry I don't agree with the cyclist and white cat clip. The cyclist did nothing wrong, he was just going on his way and the car decided to include himself. Give cyclists space ...time and understanding that they aren't killing the planet.

You did nothing wrong dude. You held a primary to stop incoming unsafe overtake. Now just imagine you were an inexperienced road user and why most are too scared to cycle. What would this do to the confidence of that person, you werent exactly going slow either, you werent holding her up.

She's in a car, therefore she believes she's at the top of the food chain. You can't argue with people like her. It's like trying to reason with a 6 year old

A while ago I counted the number of "incidents" I had while out cycling. "Incidents" being where the driver wasn't looking after my safety properly. I also counted the number of drivers I encountered who had some responsibility for my safety (i.e. overtaking me, coming out of a side junction etc). What do you think the proportion of safe to non-safe drivers was? In an urban (with light traffic) I encountered around 60 drivers per hour who had some responsibility to my safety. On average I was getting one "incident" per 90 minuets, so roughly speaking it's just 1% of vehicle drivers who are compromising my safety. Or put it another way, I have to dodge a bullet every 90 mins.

Soppy cow can't even put a seat belt on. She was inpatient and she knew the junction was coming so why go past you?. No progress made. Oh, and no you are not dangerous, she is.

I am thankful that this is not really a problem in our driving culture in Canada, because roads are so much wider, we always turn near side to near side, except in very rare circumstances. I think I've turned off side to off side once in my driving career.

Unbelievable reaction by the lady motorist. Surely a prime example of somebody how should take driving test again or a two wheels-awareness course, if such a thing exists.

The attitude is "get out of my way" and then find anything to justify their reaction. I'm surprised you waited that long to mention your job but then on your other channel someone claimed to be police trained and drove like a knob so perhaps a lot of people claim to be things they're not during arguments.

Nah the sensible thing would be to pull to the side (not stop) and let the car pass. Otherwise the cyclist is just holding up the flow of traffic.

How far are these cycling incident channels willing go for views of their posts? No doubt they provoke situations, but whats next, actually employing a car driver and staging incidents completely.

As always and in every town and city there is too much street furniture, a lot of which is completely unnecessary or left behind even when no longer in use. The sanctimonious cyclist is once again deliberately not reading the road but then gets in a contrived flap when the outcome is obvious to everyone. If the cyclist was on the turn at the same time as the turning vehicle then that’s a situation which would need looking at. This is a nothing event but councils really need to wake up to the dangers created by poor visibility caused by excessive street furniture.

It's worth pointing out that she did wait until you moved over before overtaking. It doesn't seem there was any ill will here, just a lack of understanding. As some others have said, this could've been a good opportunity for education, such as a short explanation about the benefits of riding in primary position

I don’t exactly think you’re right on this one. This *was* a none event *because* the cyclist obviously anticipated the vehicle driver not looking or stopping. The professional driver should have done a lot better!

So I move out the way to let her overtake, I hold back of the car and don’t say anything until she does, I ask a valid question, I then tell her it’s clear, she questions my knowledge and I tell her what I do, she says she would like to know my company so I tell her she is being filmed and to have a look at my channel, I ask her if she is going to go and when she says she isn’t I go in a different direction. So to summarise, it’s not quite how you make out. Thanks for your comment 👍

I ride a motorbike that will do 0 to 60 in 3.5 seconds. I drive a fiesta eco boost. I also drive my works 3.5 tonne truck, the van. I cycle a fair bit. I stopped, actually, because of idiots like this. I've had enough of the conflict. Youre quite clearly avoiding the door zone. She has no clue on bicycle positioning. She cannot have bothered to read the highway code [updated]. So, if she is going to assume you do not know how to cycle safely, then do we also assume she rents a house instead of owning one?[ I own my house]. But I'm poor you see, because I'm on a bicycle. It baffles me, this. Cyclists do NOT cycle because we are POOR. We cycle because it's quick, convenient and fast. It's free. Effecient. None of these things are taken into account by the minds of people like in the video. So, do we put her registration plate in the description? Because I am not sure if she will ever be aware of who she spoke to. As far as she knows, a man on a bike pretended he was driving instructor. We should improve her by showing her that she is wrong.
