Ohhhhh nice!!! I did this setup years ago, and now on my new PC I started to think something was strange.... When I realized I was listening the audio in mono 😥 I like to connect my TV audio to the PC and use the PC as a mixer to listen to PC audio and TV at the same time.

Got a drone flying around my house and I believe it’s more focused next door (they have three young girls and a pretty wife). It creeps me out because I hear it and seen it focused on my neighbors, yet it’s above my house. Don’t know if they’re scoping out other homes (including mine) for future thefts or it’s a creeper. I’m willing to shoot it, but my husband told me not to. Not sure if there’s a possibility of retaliation from the unknown pilot.

Main issue is that they are just to fast

This was really interesting. Beyond limitations in signal-to-noise ratio and frequency response in the preserved recording, it's really amazing how good this recording sounded. I wonder how good it could get with a little remastering, today. That said, I remember a few decades ago, in the Edison Museum in Florida, seeing an Edison cylinder phonograph with a "polyphone" attachment. This was an early experiment with achieving a more dimension sound stage. It used two reproducers, each playing the same track, but separated slightly. Each reproducer used its own horn. The result was that the record played back with a bit of artificial reverb. Obviously, this wasn't true stereo. But it's interesting to me that the experiment was even conducted. I think those attachments were commercially available, but I'm not sure.

I plug mine into the USB on an ancient laptop and use the RCA output to connect to my amp. Great for my workshop. I also use an old Galaxy smartphone to shuttle music to the 2tb external drive. I love the old smartphones with Micro SD drives as media players.

Does it have an internal reverb or is it necessary to use external fx?

I like these hidden ones better than the ones that are visible all the time. 👍

Thankyou so much for uploading this fix - my laptop had been recording fine in stereo but then just decided to throw a wobbly and switch to left channel only which was made worse by it showing in Audacity as both channels having a signal (but actually left channel doubled up!)

yes, no 1/4" thread in your arse!, but, with a junior pin (butt plug), you can adapt your arse to fit on a 5/8" thread!

Alan Blumlein must have later invented the microphone arrangement that is two cardioid mics that are right next to each other at 90 degrees - this is named after him. The advantage it has over spaced omni mics is that a Blumlein array doesn't have bass cancellation.

I understand your not suppose to shoot a drone. However you do own the airspace above the property. The rule of thumb is 83 feet,that was the result of a court case. Again you literally own above your property to infinity and down all the way to hell. The law was before airplanes but is still law

I'm using that interface with an all-in-one speaker's RCA output, which has integrated wireless microphones, etc., but the interface is not momitoring the input signal (from the speaker); instead, if I connect a mobile phone using a 2x1 cable, it does.
