Great content. Thx. Would you pair this with a 10' for surf casting for blues and stripers??

2 min in… and you said one statement… like 5 different ways. Edit or plan a script. It’ll crunch the vid down and get more views. Rest of the vid is similar type of issues. Overall incredible message.. just keep pumping out content and you’ll find your tempo

I had something similar happen to me at Oregon inlet on the outer banks with a 35 pounder . Finally got it in and it was snagged in the belly and was running straight away.

Near slack tide. Always. Doesn’t matter if it’s the flood or the ebb. You can figure that out for your area.

This one deserves a comment. The fun part of plug building is the time spent on the variables. Getting a detail sorted out is all part of the magic

Great work capturing a true craftsman. Clearly loves the work making these plugs. Alll the more satisfying when a big bass takes one in the wash.

In Maine, we can use live herring as bait. The river bites in the spring when the migration starts here in Maine. The rivers are the place for the big girls.
@zach63838 күн бұрын
How early in the spring do you guys get them big girls up in the rivers? I don't fish Maine and would only take maybe 1 or 2 trips there next spring (I fish Massachusetts)
@Maineriverandtide7 күн бұрын
@zach6383 southern maine may 25th to June 15th would probably be the sweet spot. When it's over, the fish move out quickly. My channel has some video up at some of these big herring runs that get a good push of bass. Some spots I'm working 9 inch spooks and magic swimmers in rivers I can cast across.

He keeps saying 'Worry about you.' Umm..he is worried about himself, that's why he wants you to leave the spot he's already fishing in. You're literally right in front of him. Then the guy has the nerve to say, "Go buy a boat." This is bad etiquette and HIGHLY disrespectful. I hope this kind of behavior is rare.

Not just the sp minnow my friend but many many plastic lip swimmers over time they are one of the holy Grails of striper fishing from the redfin swimmer to bombers long a without these style of swimmers all would be at a lose all those nights under the lighthouse using a plastic swimmer how many 50+ plus stripers I put to rest on these lures

Do you ever find incoming tides on the ocean front (either rocks or beach) productive in your area?
@gofishtnАй бұрын
We have our versions of this in freshwater when they push up cold waters during summer. 36" and well above fish in 3' of water surface feeding on redfins is a blast. Get you a big glide. We smash them on 8" glides. They can't ignore it. You can start the glide venture with a savage gear glide swimmer its cost effective and doesn't roll in current. Easy guide lure client can just reel no real skill needed.

Thanks for the tip! I will definitely check one out!

Rivers and back streams are my favorite places to try to find bass. I have a ton of small lures dedicated to fishing stuff like this all the time, and it makes for super fun fishing when you have light tackle
