I've read elsewhere that only the property value needs to be 750k. The property can have a mortgage on it for example downpayment of 400k and 350k mortgaged and this is all that is needed now. Is that true with the current regulations? Thanks.

No point commenting here. You remove comments that tell the truth. Off plan = fraud. Read the Bloomberg and Reueters articles on Nakheel etc. 20 yrs later - no property, no compensation, no refund.

I have not removed your comment it is absolutely here. In last 20 years over 300,000 off plan units have been handed over. Bloomberg and Reuters have also put articles saying Dubai is beating London & Miami in property sales and is booming. Your comment makes no difference to investors who are serious and are making great returns investing in this market

Are you denying the fundamental fact that as much as 75% of off plan projects are NEVER built? Tell your would be customers what happened with Palm JA for 20 yrs and many more state developer led projects. Nakheel and friends held onto the money for TWENTY years and even now are stalling on refunds and refusing so much as a single dirham interest. These are facts, NOT the pitch of someone looking for the next generation of marks! U should be ashamed! Admit the facts!

@@tahirmajithia You post to make money. I post to warn people of the dangers. Crooks at Nakheel offered a business partner of mine 150% ofdeposit refund... after holding onto his money TWENTY years. (All the time promising "it will be built" - Palm Jebel Ali). Then they rescind the 150% offer without reason. And they do this all the time. Verbal offers of 25% of deposit back whilst using that money for 20 yrs to build other projects. You don't care about your customers, only your profits. I make no money from this. I am simply saying this to stop innocent decent people losing their life savings to crooks like Nakheel. We both know the truth it can be found from many reputable sources.

Do your research people. Don't believe agents making fat commissions and pretending to be advisors. Even the state developers like Nakheel hold your money 20 yrs without giving u a property or a refund. 75% of offplan developments are never built. Scams, scams, scams. But you will be harrassed for payment even tho it is never built. And the crook "Sheik Mohammed" is to blame for it.

@@tahirmajithia Come off it, the prestige offplan projects of 2004 to 2008 haven't been built, even by state developers. More to the point, they haven't even given refunds, let alone interest! They make an offer then rescind it. Or make derisory offers like 25% back. I work with people who have been ripped off by Nakheel and similar. Bloomberg, Reuters etc confirm these frauds by Nakheel and many others. You are trying to make commission money. I am trying to tell people the truth - as I have seen many times. Who should people believe? 🙄🙄🤣🤣

Absolutely true any property IF BOUGHT AT THE RIGHT PRICE can be profitable but most of the times not all developers are selling at the correct prices hence we always advice clients to understand the market and the values then invest.
