FSD 12.5.1.3 drives Las Vegas Strip at Night (Hands Free)

My second FSD 12.5.1.3 trip downtown on the Las Vegas Strip. This time at night. I pushed FSD to the limits even more with a new route and having it pull into the casino entrances. I continue to be impressed with Tesla Full Self-Driving!

It's nice that I can ask the AI for the timestamps of interventions. It gave quite an extensive list of interesting points of the drive, including the interventions but also a time when FSD handled a pedestrian just standing in the crosswalk, and other interesting timestamps. I find that I like to jump to the interesting bits.

I could be wrong but the slow down at 5:07could’ve been caused by the flashing lights on the Jumbotron

Vegas traffic can be stressful - especially for those of us who just visit bc we're trying to figure out where we're going at the same time as dealing with the other cars, pedestrians, etc. Good to know this does so well. Have you tried using it to take you to parking garages? Was wondering if the addition of sub-destinations would include this. Most navs take you to the drop-off areas by default from what I've seen.

I haven’t tested the parking garages yet. I don’t want to get stuck in a lane having to pay $20 to park. I will do a video testing the sub-destinations soon though. Probably with the airport soon

I think the slowdowns were because of the closeness of other vehicles. The lanes are pretty narrow, and sometimes it seems to think another vehicle is swerving a bit too close.

Looks like it slowed down for the overhead pedestrian bridges, didn’t know what to make of them.

Case a car is slowing down for no apparent reason next/in front of me, if i have no view, i would rather slow down also for nothing, than risking hurting something on the road or crossing the road .. If fsd is acting by caution regarding that it's totally fine to me

the streets of las Vegas are very simple, anyone can drive even a child, same thing on all roads USA, I would be curious to see how it behaves in Italy
