1:05 So disappointed with Robert Summers driver, respectable firm let down by this moron, jumping a red light and driving on the hard shoulder to do it. Sack him, guilty of bringing the company into disrepute. 4:50 Absolutely no excuse for that whatsoever, clear vision of oncoming traffic so driving without due care, most likely as a result of distraction, phone or sat-nav, most common. 6:21 Highly likely a distracted driver causing that carnage, slightly veering to the right, no braking or deviation until impact. 6:10 Driver could be forgiven for not putting handbrake on as they had just been sideswiped by a left hand drive truck, which is why you do not stay at the side of large vehicles by the way. So they've come to a stop and got out over the barrier, they would be in a state of shock at the time and as the car was stationary they got to safety. Did you notice the speed of the other traffic passing that accident scene, no one was taking any notice thinking it's not affecting me, I've no need to slow down. BUT at an accident scene no matter how minor you can have unexpected things happening, people walking about, maybe injured or in shock so slow down and keep your eyes open at the bigger picture. As one famous You Tuber states if you see an uncommon thing in a common situation, you should be prepped and ready to brake or change direction. A vehicle stopped on the hard shoulder is the uncommon thing here, the common situation is it not parked there. Thank you for reading. Another good one dashflix.

I worked for Enterprise as a vehicle prep at one of the U*** branches when they ran the old Ralph computer system database and I hate to say this to you but they wouldn't care mate. The management trainees used to wheelspin and race the vehicles to customer addresses themselves. And when they'd sometimes swap a vehicle with another branch you might aswell call it brands hatch. They might tell you something just to shut you up like that such as "Oh thank you so much for bringing this to our attention we'll black list them immediately sir" but they won't. It means they'll lose a customer and if its a retail customer they definately won't lose them because Enterprise never had customer feedback scores from corperate customer bookings. If it was a branch that took nearly all corperate bookings daily the staff in the branch were really rude and aggressive to "Us" preps. If the branch was a healthy balance between retail and corperate customers the staff were all cheery and went out on "Celebration" do's to congratulate themselves on good target scores because that mean't the trainees went on to bigger better propositions.

Probably more fair to say inconsiderate driving than just impatience. Inconsiderate can also mean going too slow on the open road when it is perfectly clear and safe to go up to the speed limit. That causes frustration and impatience. And we don't know what the other driver might be rushing for anyway; it could be a medical appointment or emergency. We just don't know. So rather than just assuming it's impatience, there's possibly more to it than simply that. Inconsiderate driving covers patience and a whole lot more - such as inconsiderate parking - but that's a rant for another time!

Every other make of car drives as if its blending in with traffic and is absolutely fine to be behind or follow. Not Japanese cars! They are always the cars I catch up to the rear bumper with, they are always the cars stopping at roundabouts when nothing is there, they are always the ones that go in a wrong lane and drift back infront of me again. 4:50 The East European driver clearly signalled that he wanted to turn and the British driver at this point clearly accelerated, the problem was that they both reacted at this point. The British jittery driver felt insulted by the East European driver that he had to strain his foot by pressing the brake pedal too hard, which triggered in him an unusually and undiscovered reservoir of anger. The police fortunately defused the tension and potential escalation of the problem, which would inevitably have led to riots.

What is wrong with you people. You can’t justify running over a cyclist because he’s being erratic or even idiotic. He or she is a human being for God’s sake. Have a bit of patience or go and see a shrink. Would you prefer to go through the rest of your life thinking I ran the little git over, serve his right I was in a hurry.

lol, theres clear species of driver German (Bmw/audi drivers) Kids (VWs, Leons, Fiestas etc) Lady/Women Van That cyclist handled that dude very well too, why does he need to do anything FOR the driver in the car? The caption summed him up very well, I imagine most people too. I dont think the KA left the handbrake off, it was being shunted by the HGV and when they all stopped it rolled down into the MWAY All I learn from these videos is, people are incredibly petty, ultimately selfish and self absorbed/entitled and extremely arrogant, if you're wrong just shut up.
@CoffeeMatt10Ай бұрын
I don’t think the cyclist handled it well, he escalated the situation by confronting the driver on a busy road. He has disrupted multiple people just to make a point to someone who clearly didn’t care for what he had to say anyway. What’s that saying about arguing with stupid people? Since they changed the law, cyclists are riding in the middle of the lane because they can, but maybe not when they should. Take care of yourself, don’t leave your safety to someone else. If you are aware of vehicles behind you, do yourself a favour and move across to the left. If the vehicle is passing too close at that point, then you can feel aggrieved. I’ll also say, cyclists like this tend to be the biggest hypocrites as they do the exact same to pedestrians on footpaths/bridlepaths, and then act like the pedestrian is in the wrong for being on the path.

@carminethewolfАй бұрын
Weird how a cyclist that knows the rules of the road is "wrong" in the mind of the driver in the clip that doesn't and the sheer number of commenters that rush to defend the driver who seem to be equally as misinformed as he is himself. Kind of like an echochamber of misinformation and ignorance that just keeps on and on reverberating, no matter how many times the rules of the road are explained to them. Don't overtake on a bend. Give cyclists the same distance and consideration as a car. Speed limits generally do not apply to unpowered bikes. Cyclists may adopt prime position to deter dangerous overtaking. Some motorist just don't know that or have egos too fragile to handle dealing with it.
