Why does everything in this game has to be over complicated? Even seemingly simple stuff like gathering. They should have just made it like in the island sanctuary. Go into gathering mode, roam around the area, click on collectable, done.

hello tenelen again how are u i came to ask a question about today high end gathere materials ipe log etc... since now they are low on demand that bcs some time have passed will be there future uses for them in later updates like new recipes or next tier savage gear or something? since now i have some leftovers (acutally quite alot) im not sure if just sell them now or wait

The mount gem appeared as a gambling item. I was able to get it up to three and accepted, so one of my party members got the mount from just one portal!

purple scripts you can buy materia for 25 scripts each that work for melding in the slots you dont care about i just did this and spent like 1000 scripts and got 5 pieces too fully melded since they are level 5 they have a high chance to meld too your gear so it works out good for tossing them later lol

I came in here to say that I enjoy your videos and I hope you keep it up. I saw a really rude (my opinion) comment on this one and just wanted to offer the counter point that your videos do help people out. I tried the chain shark method when another creator recommended it, but I had an AWFUL experience with it so I don't think I'll go back to that, but I might give the condor a go. Anywho, don't give too much thought to negative commenters unless you see actual value in what they're being negative about. The one I read seems to be an opinion and offer no useful feedback which is honestly what compelled me to leave a comment.

Thanks for including your scrip per hour count in this even with a small sample. Really helps show both how long it may take however also lets us compare the other gathering collectibles too for comparison, which I think is something people just don't often do. I feel like all I hear is "Chain Shark! Big scrip!" when it really does seem like a gamble.

I'm gonna be that nitpicker and I'm sorry it's on your video, but what is up with every FFXIV content creator doing the opening video with their character "talking". It's not creative and it's overplayed.

Chain Shark is a huge gamble, most of the time i dont get a single one, rarely got 2, imo not recommended

Zorgor condor is my fav for the orange script, easier bait and less frustrating compared to the chain shark. when i feel burn out, i just switch to miner and botanist and do their collectible.

These maps are incredibly fun. Even when we lose, just the exciting music and enticing rewards keep us going. We have done 12 and haven't gotten a single clear yet but we have gotten very close and millions of Gil worth of items have been gotten

I actually wish they would increase the odds of the mini events happening in each room. It just makes the runs where you don't get any events happening in the rooms feel kinda bland. Not complaining at all tho, maps are a hit this expansion!

Yeah, I had some interest in pentamelding initially, but when I realized how much work it was going to be I just.... didn't feel invested enough to put in the work. At the moment, I've got all base slots filled, and one overmeld slot filled with rank 10 materia mass-purchased from my island sanctuary. It ain't much, but it also didn't take me an eon for upgrades I'll probably never use.

Sure fate farming is fun... until you spend 4 days straight spamming fates for 12 hours to appease our materia consuming overlords

Islands didn't quite hit the mark (sheet on launch, low traffic later) and with Ishgard Restoration tryhards were on top and AFAIK people complained how quick it was farmed out. Hitting a system that is 24/7-proof but also isn't irrelevant/boring like islands will be hard.

I'm a big fan on content Islands, or if you prefer to call it self-contained content. So I hope if it has a lot of crafting involved (and I hope it does), that it uses little to no materials from outside of the activity so that more stuff can be locally sourced. I'm not a big fan of having to jump on the market board or other side of the world when you need to complete a craft from a contained experience for that contained experience, know what I mean?.

bit confused here. Full afflatus and I make the crafting stats pre-food. The macros for necklace and braclet fail always; Even tried with with food for a test and it still fails not even completing the craft early. Using the all HQ mats crafted earlier in the sheet. I was attempting the crafting gear versions of bracelet and neck

Hey guys. Every village has an idiot, and I am the one. My Blacksmith has craftmanship of 4803. Control 4407. My CP is 651. I used all HQ except for Mythloam Aethersand. I used budget macro and ran out of durability. I am sure I am messing up, and I would appreciate the Tenelen community's help. Another example of my stupidity, I'm looking for a macro with crafting ingredients into HQ. For example, when crafting sterling silver ingots, I always max out progress before I max quality. Thanks
