2 years late but sure, i'll share my list of favorite plants banana launcher: easily cleans up hordes of zombies every 20 seconds. 500 sun is a lot, but is manageable once you set up a strong sun production. also it's manual, so it's fun to use in a sense and also its satisfying to aim with it to hit fast zombies. pea pod: has to be paired with torchwood to reach its maximum potential but the damage output once you get a full pea pod is really high which comes at the reasonable cost of being able to set up a full pea pod which is extremely rewarding. infi-nut: spamming it creates a basically impenetrable defense normal zombies are unable to break through because the infi-nuts just stay there on your lawn forever against regular zombies, without constant maintenance. extremely devastating on levels without zombies that can destroy the infi-nut's projector. rotobaga: a bit finicky to use which is rewarded by insane damage output. very cool plant and it is also purple. potato mine: people say it's not effective mid to late game but it's more fun to use in the mid to late game. it does a lot of damage on a single tile but you have to plant it there in advance which makes certain interactions with certain zombies feel a lot more special. to use it effectively in mid to late game, you have to actively look for zombies on the battlefield, identify the threats that your current defense cannot fend off and plant a potato mine ahead of that threat to deal with it. not to mention that it damages all zombie on its tile when it explodes which means you can group zombies up with wall plants to blow them all up in a single explosion. its a bit hard to use but very fun to use successfully.

Can the Sleeper Agents activate here again? I really want the final part and maybe even something like this on Ruina as these videos are genuinely great and nice ways to see the PM Games be played.

I started playing PvZ2 Eclise in 2022 after the alpha was released. And, even to this day, I think the alpha is much better than most PvZ fans say it is. But that is probably because: a) before playing the mod, I had significant exeprience and skill from playing vanilla PvZ 2's adventure mode over and over again for nearly 8 years straight. b) it was the first mod I've ever played, previously playing only vanilla PvZ 1 and 2. From that context, I thought eclise was great because it was way better than the vanilla version and I really appreciated the higher but more strategic difficulty, even if it got at times stupid.

I most of the time just take Draftodyl. It's cheap, fast recharge, it's an infinite Blover on a lane and it stalls and deals damage.

The sudden swing of hatred towards Eclise is quite fascinating to see after coming back to it recently after a few years. From universal praise, to utter disdain from so many. Even positive reviews of it from the past are now labeled "outdated". What a coincidence that they all suddenly hate Eclise at the exact same time. I see that its creator isnt a nice person, but Eclise is still super fun. I absolutely love the tier system, so many ways to mix up strategies, and get much more value out of your favorite plants. Anyway, my point is, don't succumb to mob mentality, think for yourself. I'll stick by Eclise's quality just like 95% of everyone else did three years ago. Not gp2 though... lol.

14:41 well for their excuse they were students (if I remember correctly, I played lob corp when ruina came out so I only have context from others) and their kickstarter wasnt completed at all, also the game wasnt succesful at all.

The only reason I level my plants is because the green bar that shows I can level them is insanely annoying. It would be nice if we could get rid of that or if there was a separate menu for leveling so we can avoid it easier :3
