Have you been able to discover anything about the composer of the tune?

Vlasta Novotna was a Czech dancer ballerina often billed falsely as a member of the Imperial Russian Ballet, she toured Australia/Enzed in 1913 and 1914-1915 and at some stage worked for JC WIlliamssons. This seems to be a local interpolation into Lehar's Gipsy Love Williamsson production c 1914 (original Vienna production 1910) I wonder whether the production kept touring when Austria and Hungary became the enemy in August 1914?

After some weeks of rehearsal, the whole show was performed by the combined Parramatta District Primary Schools in the Civic Theatre, George Street, Parramatta one morning late in 1955. I played Mr Moonshine. Elaine Marriott played the Queen. Then there was a concert of acts from each school after lunch. A man recorded it on audio tape using just one ribbon microphone.

How did you find this music? This is a distant relative of mine, and I actually have some written music of his in an old book.
