What kills me about the guy who hung up on me recently is that I actually asked him if he had a minute because I didn't want to interrupt him. That's something I never do because it's just not part of our script, and no one has ever hung up on me before. So it's ironic. But anyway, he said, yeah, sure. Then I start talking, and boom, the call drops. There was no warning at all. I was just starting to talk. That did NOT feel good! And no, I did not call him back, nor will I ever. And for all the rude a-holes out there, here's some advice. If you're not interested, just say so. You don't have to be a total jerk and hang up on someone midsentence. You're welcome!

Indeed, there is a trend of more & more companies doubling down on outbound in the last few years (especially in SaaS).
