I thought I knew about humility. Still got a long way to go

As a woman, I must say that what you said is the same as what I think. In my Rosary requests, I always pray to Our Lady to give me the graces to become a true woman and a true Catholic. Nowadays we don't even know how to really be a man or really a woman. The world teaches us to be weak and depraved, with the sins of the flesh being virtues and morals. As a Catholic, my biggest doubt is whether to pursue religious life or marriage, however, both are currently going through a huge crisis, unfortunately. There are few religious orders faithful to tradition and there are few men who are seriously responsible, honorable and in search of virtue. What reassures my heart is what a priest told me about this, no matter what vocation I will be in, I must live for Christ and with all my love for Him. If Our Lord wants a certain vocation, He will guide towards it. We must live our lives focusing on God and doing His will.

Exact same story was told in book 12 rules of life. When I was reading this book I became more interested and closer to God. We must realize that God is helping us every time. We can not understand how He loves us even more than anybody else in this world and we must respect it.

With Humility comes Wisdom.

Don’t ignore the fact that Christian philosophy needs a lot of work. The meaning of our lives should be to become wiser, stronger and, above all as loving as possible. There is so much room for improvement in our own lives and the world, but particularity what we teach our children and how we teach them to think. Good and evil are not simple terms and may need defining more clearly. I think we need to be careful not to preach and teach things we can’t be sure of.
