'you want a wife but you don't want to be a husband.' that one hit me.

Hit me like a ton of bricks when I thought of it too man. It’s true tho. It’s a word of truth I believe. We must become the right person before expecting that from anyone else. And how the bible outlines how we should treat others who we wish to be treated. We wish forgiveness for our own trespasses but forbid that upon others. Really made me think.

As a woman, I must say that what you said is the same as what I think. In my Rosary requests, I always pray to Our Lady to give me the graces to become a true woman and a true Catholic. Nowadays we don't even know how to really be a man or really a woman. The world teaches us to be weak and depraved, with the sins of the flesh being virtues and morals. As a Catholic, my biggest doubt is whether to pursue religious life or marriage, however, both are currently going through a huge crisis, unfortunately. There are few religious orders faithful to tradition and there are few men who are seriously responsible, honorable and in search of virtue. What reassures my heart is what a priest told me about this, no matter what vocation I will be in, I must live for Christ and with all my love for Him. If Our Lord wants a certain vocation, He will guide towards it. We must live our lives focusing on God and doing His will.
