This story was originally done for 1940s Superman Radio Show. The radio show also introduced the detective Candy Meyers for the first time.

I watched all but Kirk Allen as Superman (that was new to me) thanks for the vid. Really enjoyed learning about the shows I loved to watch as kid and a teen.

70s kid here. These effects are so goofy, but man they really sparked my imagination growing up. Thank you for putting together these videos. Brings back memories!

Steve Trevor and Jamie Summers had a daughter in one of the later made-for-tv movies, a bionic daughter portrayed by a very young (now Oscar winner) Sandra Bullock. Check it out.

The show wasnt any good after Barney left. They should have made Ernest T Bass a deputy after Barney left and kept the Darlins

I never understood how a skydiving accident damaged her ear. Did her ear get ripped off when she landed? if so, she just needed to replace the outer part of her ear, not the internal bits

Hey, about that trash can dissappearing act. That's easy. And this makes sense too. I promise. Well, it's because when she's going to her transformation mode, it's obvious there's a power effect that results from this, isn't there? And this power effect is the one that zaps that trash can into oblivion. So, that's why it's not there anymore after Diana has completed her transformation 😅 PS: And if you guys are wondering how come the other objects beside the trash can, didn't vanish after her transformation, well I guess the only explanation for that is, the trash can is the smallest object nearby. So others such as the car, the wall or even the building itself are too big to get affected by her transformation blast... That's just my theory 😂😅

Most of the stunts in the last season were done by model cars.

Very good and entertaining info, but Howard & Theodore Lydecker at Republic pictures used models made of balsa wood, not papier mache.

It's funny you mention Galactica 1980 would have been better if it was in a mini-series format. This is probably common knowledge but that was the intent for the original series. Only do TV movies. You an see that what with the format of Lost Planet of the Gods and Gun on Ice Planet Zero. I think because of the success of Star Wars, Universal rushed it to series with little money and no scripts.

I loved this video. I grew up with this level of technology. I have to admit, I laughed out loud when the narrator said, "Why did Burt Ward need a stunt double to run around the corner." 🤣😂😅

I enjoyed this particular episode. Many of these shows were before my time or of my childhood. I do remember Lynda Carter as Wonder Woman, and even as a child, I admired her beauty. As I became a teenager, she became one of my biggest crushes, right up there with Morgan Fairchild and Lynda Carter's good friend Loni Anderson. Looking back, I always thought Morgan Fairchild would have been good during the first season when the series took place during WW2, playing the role of Priscilla Rich. The first version of the Cheetah. It would have made for good television. I'm looking forward to what you have next.
