Always nice to see y’all collaborate on reviews/breakdowns! Kraven may be one of the grossest bastardizations of both West African writing systems and Voudoun practices I have ever seen. I must say, most of the bad reviews don’t even do this disrespect justice and yes, there’s the apeing of Black Panther, the great yt hunter and yt savior tropes, etc but the cultural appropriation was deeply problematic. I’m gonna need a West African historian to pick this movie apart and tear it limb from limb. Just…wow.

This movie was a snoozefest. The ADR was terrible, just like in Madem Web. The fading to black between scenes. WTH was that. The weird camera angles of ppl talking.

Thanks for the review. As far as Anthony Mackie, he is not popular with the general audience. Alot of people don't want to be preached to and his show went down that direction. I don't mind him. But a lot of people did not like his show
