A is cheap sound...unseparated notes.. ear fatigue....Obviously uncomparable....B is Gibson
@whitehh1518 күн бұрын
B was obviously the Gull from the first chord I heard. It's not a bad guitar. Hot take that the commenter won't like. Neither of these guitars sound particularly good.

Aloha Braddah! Guitar A had too much external noise….like you had a long sleeve shirt on, unbuttoned and the button was hitting the guitar, too annoying. Guitar B was not recorded at the same time because you cannot hear that noise. B is probably the Seagull….more bass sounding. Mahalo nui loa for sharing
@michaelsablan877226 күн бұрын
Actually, that same sound can kind of be heard on the B guitar as well. This should be a lesson in cleaning up your sound,that banging/tapping sound is annoying….hearing being elevated since the visual is not there.

I'll just say this. Took the guitar to a tech. He offered to buy it cause it sounded better than his high end Taylor.

I just got a seagull s6 slim that my aunt gave me and it plays and sounds great! I love how you can feel the guitar vibrate while playing it. I can’t believe I never heard of these guitars until I got this one. Truly a good guitar

tryin to find out the difference between red & silver stripes. ......the red has Reverb/presense/Tdynamic ........but the silver has only t dynamic & presense only yet has way more buttons. the red has like toggle swicthes. Im so torn, I know I love the silbvers tone, yet so many people say the red is the best.

I own a Seagull 6 and 12. Also a Minstrel 6 (Seagull before they changed names). The Seagull has more mids, the Gibson sounded like it had fresh strings and brighter.

I use my s6 cedar in half step down tuning it sound warmer and deeper for his small size and it’s at least 2500$ cheaper then the cheapest Gibson.

Love the straight talking. I love it especially the grain patterns' never knew basswood was so cool. The blemishes are part of the tree, they select more perfect wood for more expensive guitars but I think it makes it unique. only question is that for a bit more you could get a Squire. But I always just put fake fender stickers over the cheap bass logos anyway when I gig and nobody ever questioned it

Just found this video. I have one of these, bought it new in the late 90s. I have NEVER taken the volume above about 3, as it's just too loud. BUT I have also only ever used the gain channel. Can you get the effect you're talking about at a usable volume point?

My first was Seagull S6 CW rustic and then a Taylor mini for travel. The Seagull rocks with the Cedar top and new, good strings. It’s rich and fills the room without the high cost. Paid USD$600for it (Seagull) and played it everyday with few exceptions for 9 years. The more I play the better it sounds (even when someone plays it).
