Absolutely outstanding. Your explanation was laid out perfectly for anyone to understand. After watching your video I went right out and started my mower that I had been fighting with for about a week. Thanks!!

Once the pressure is built up from being plugged in will the plug need to stay in to continue airing up anything?

What is it about generators ? Never had any trouble with lawn tractor. push mower, snow blower, despite sitting all winter, or summer. Use no ethanol gas (allegedly). Nothing but trouble with generator.

I’m trying to find a fuel filter that would work as an alternative however this not only seems essential but proprietary and I live in Italy so they would cost me 60€ shipped, on Amazon Italy there are hoses with various adapters as well. Mr Heater’s own hose, but not the fuel filer self, which is annoying because I did actually purchase the heater itself from here, the little buddy, and of course it was more expensive as well, but I have to figure out what to do as an alternative.

Radiant al the way.We just finished comparing two heaters that look exactly the same , same brand , same size, etc. The only difference is the burners ..I'm here to tell you ,the blue flame heater couldn't hold a candle to the radiant heater .👍Now we just gotta figure a reason to explain to the store why we want to exchange the lousy blue flame heater for another radiant heater like we just bought two days ago and exchanged it for this lousy blue flame heater 🤨 I researched for hours and everything I read said blue flame was better than radiant. I'm here to tell you ,If you wanna be warm use a radiant heater..They heat a house faster and more efficiently than a blue flame heater.👍

What if i just remove the rubber tip and put the solenoid back in without it? Had a no start issue. Fuel related, carb was clean inside. I was able to run the engine with the carb solenoid removed, using my finger to plug the hole.... odd thing is the engine was flooding and running rich. I removed only the rubber tip, and now it runs great. I don't get it, but i guess it needs that partial restriction before the jet. Any idea?

Hey thanks . The tap and the starting fluid got my mower running after I ran out of gas
@RickB1792Ай бұрын
My experience is that just spraying from the outside if the carb usually doesn’t do it. I usually have to remove the carb, disassemble it, and give it a proper cleaning. That always works. As an alternative, there are very inexpensive replacement carbs that work well if you can get the right one. Sometimes you need to transplant choke levers, maybe other linkage, but the new ones have always worked for me.

Any help would be appreciated! 😊 So I started my generator this season, started first pull but then shut off because I forgot to turn on my gas. Stated right up again, ran for about 2-3 min, then it just shut off. Tried spraying starting fluid and it’s not firing at all anymore. Any thoughts? I pulled the carburetor and cleaned it, checked the spark plug while holding it on the head and I didn’t see any spark. Is it possible the ignition coil went out? Or do you think it’s the carburetor and I’m just checking the spark wrong? It kind of sputtered then shut off within 2-3 seconds. Could it have flooded and then shut off? I’d just assumed if it was the carburetor it would at least fire on the starting fluid, like my other experiences.

Thanks mate. Here in Queensland Australia we’re getting ready for the seasonal rain/humidity and after last years mini cyclone that knocked out the electricity and phone towers for a week, I really shouldn’t have left it this late. I’ve got a Full Boar brand generator. But it was pretty much the same as yours. I end up draining all the fuel. Once that was done, followed your steps and off she went! I let it run for about 15 minutes. I’m going to start it every second day. Don’t want to be caught out like last year. Thanks for the video. Cheers from Aussie Dave.🎉

Do you have to release pressure first? Can you plug in a hose when the compressor is full?
@Z23goАй бұрын
Great question. You do not have to release pressure. You can plug in a hose when the compressor is full. Some air will blow out of the coupler when you connect it, that is normal. Just push it in hard till the outside metal collar clicks into place.
