Filmed at a fast pace while I was actively working on the project climbing ladders carrying tools and wood with one hand taking quick footage with one hand from my phone as I was moving on the fly didnt have time to take my normal concise footage cranes are very expensive $$ couldnt not stop and take slow video of the whole day my saftey and and getting the project done for client are first priority not providing free video footage for you to criticise etc it was short quick highlights of the whole day stitched to gether condensed to one minute...when I am at my shop Its not as fast pace if you did not like it appreciate the your feed back but if you CANT watch my films because its to quick for you dont watch them not gona slow my day down for you

White oak but they can be just about any hardwood but as far as I am concerned in this part of the country white oak is champagne of peg material hard high tinsel strength and rot resistant

if that pole held lines that fed my house...i think i'd be getting out and smothering that burn instead of taking time to get out my phone and film, or at least make the call to fire dept first

Well you obviously dont know the difference between a high voltage electrical fire and a camp fire the difference is you would find yourself in a casket much quicker than me because your ignorance would get you electrocuted theres a reason i did not get out of my truck and why i filmed it with.a zoom lense 15 feet away the high voltage flowing through that wet pole because ground failed is reason why its burning internaly got so hot it ignited just standing cpl feet away could fry you...and we all called fire and electric company before and after the video....so dont assume what you dont know you suck at carnival guessing go back to flipping burgers

Your not there I was...and if you were there and know what I know you would know thatna wet saturated pole can conduct electricity just like a wire and because the pole was not grounded the high voltage used the pole to reach ground and as the high voltage passed through it it got so hot that the wood dried out at that spot and burned wood inside out thats why I stayed 15ft away and filmed with a zoom lense inside my truck cuz unlike you homer I knew better

😆 hey... relax. I'm no electrician. Nothing was really explained on the video besides after the work the bottom of the pole started burning, I just said what made sense to me from what I saw in the video. Calm urself buddy. 😆

This could be from old wires. They become resistive as they age. Electric current finds ground through the pole. Well documented issue, kills cows. Power company finds it cheaper to push more current and pay off ranchers

Thks I am and an old school traditional carver I dont grind my work with rotary cutters or abrasive bits I shave wood with razor sharp steel the way it was done for centuries by great masters no high pitch whining dremel stile tools in my shop only the sounds of shaving and chopping
