1:18 To be fair, "Hard Hitting Bars and Lyrical Reads" can still be potent... but neither Drake or Kendrick held back, so here we are, with "shocking reveals that can't be recovered from"

15:59 The original song is a classic Black staple!! It’s something our parents and Grandparents played a lot, definitely music you’d hear in a GNX for sure, with a lot of 80’s music- like the sample you hear in Squabble Up, the Latin interludes and that meld with LatinX culture- the Nas sample, Tupac sample, SWV sample- very intentional classic Black music samples. I can’t get enough of all the layers to this record.

The GNX works on so many levels but the most important piece is the role of the GNX is in LA culture. It is a coveted car from collectors cause of the limited production but also because in the streets of LA it represents the culture of the music and the spirit of Black and LatinX people in LA especially “Past the 10”. It is a direct call out that drives home what he said about Drake and culture vultures. They have no true connection to what the soul of hip hop is even though they masquerade in the cars, clothes, and jewels, it’s like yo he doesn’t even go to this school😂 But it does put an exclamation point on his thought and discourse around culture and authenticity and respect for the lineage of hip hop. You can’t fake real.

I think that the other 5 songs mentioned in the beef are in this album, so I think this record should include the diss tracks, but what should be the track listing for GNX if you include the diss tracks?

I think that his savior complex, while it was shed with Mr. Morale, does still live on as a sort of leader for the culture: I can’t contextualize this properly, but I think that he does see this as how he rebuilds his ego after Mr. Morale. He needed to be vulnerable, or take down his defense mechanisms as said in the Mr. Morale concert film, to regain that ego, albeit on a much smaller scale, to only come out(or pop out) when necessary. That’s a theme in the beef, it’s that Drake *needed* to be taken down, and to an extent the industry needs to be taken down. Thoughts might be in replies.

U see how good a diss is, when the people replay the song. But Kendrick went further. He made a diss so "diss" that nobody wants to listen to more than necessary this song. This is evil in another's level

I disagree… diss tracks are still about the bars… Pusha T’s whole song was 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥. The information was the cherry on top of that masterpiece💯 The beat and flow was 🔥 too💯 Same with Kendrick… and yes even Drake… Kinda😉

Drake was the one that started the whole "gossip as a weapon" diss. The real damnable part of this video is it proves how forgettable Drake's verses are.

Not to be harsh, but this video shouldn't be this long. Take the intro for example; too much deadwood-why do we need to know about your notebook, see you writing things down, _and_ hear them repeated through narration? Didn't you just say you'll cut to the chase? That you will answer your title "without further ado" (god I hate this clichéd phrase; try conveying your thoughts without prefacing it with this breath waster and see what I mean. Just spill already) This is all me, but I'd trim extraneous words and work on the flow; after all, I'm asking viewers for their time to listen to what I'm trying to say. That's why we love Kendrick: sharp, witty, and concise lyricism and wordplay.

You should consider really diving into Gloria a little more. First, he DID help his friends. In fact, Kendrick’s main job was as a hype man. He was supposed to back Jay Rock and push him to the front. He did that for years. Remember, Kendrick didn’t really start getting solo gigs until he was 25 or thereabouts, even though he was with TDE at 16 years old. Bottom line is that he paid his dues and wanted to do his solo work. Second, he DID put other, up and coming artists on. Indeed, he’s been putting other artists on for years, including SZA, Rapsody and J Hitter 3.

I keep hearing people talk about how both sides lack receipts. But as far as the claims of Drake being a predator, there's an abundance of evidence for that already. Kendrick doesn't really need to present what Drake already willingly reveals. From Drake's lyrics to his recorded sexual behavior with minors (including one on stage at a concert) - it should be all that anyone needs.

I wonder what’s your thoughts on it now, it seems like 100 gigs was him experimenting what he can do outside of his label. I wonder does that change how you feel, potentially these types of moves could start to change the music industry.
