Trust the process! I’m a graphic designer and work in a print shop and I hate to admit that I love paper…but I do! And this table…wow! If I won the lottery I’d commission you to make another…and I say win the lottery because wow I’d have to pay you a lot coz that looked like a ton of work…a few scaffolds but you really did trust the process! Under-guessing the time a project will take was solved for me by my late husband. Here's how: -- If it is midnight, no one is there to distract or interfere, the phone won't ring, & you have EVERYTHING you need to complete the job - how long will it take? Now multiply by 3. After a bit I discovered MY multiplier is 3.5. For you, perhaps go back thru your projects & compare your original estimate with reality & note there is a pattern, an average. Now multiply your gut-response estimate by that average for every future oroject.
