I own two of your albums (one on vinyl) and never delved too deeply into everything to recognize who you are. I feel silly now as I've been watching your channel for some time haha. Anywho, keep doing what you do. Love your work!

Man it’s so fucking awesome to know someone else has such a diverse taste in music. I’m from the Wv tristate and have played open mic nights and opened for Tyler before where we played the same back woods holler bars. Gotta say opening for him is a lot less stressful than when he would go on first in open mic nights. Like how the fuck are you supposed to beat that with some weird sludge Tom petty covers lol

to be honest, it looked like they didnt rehearse that much, so many mistakes they made when playing live. i find live legacy much more better performance than live in stockholm

I'm waiting for your British metal albums list. Wondering also if it will be all British metal or just NWBM.

Love the logic of Ride The Lighting can't be the best thrash metal album cause its a mega popular multiplatinum seller, and not something hardly anyone knows about!! 🤡

Sepultura Arise eventually got played in my stereo player and my drumset more than Metallica. Also to my knowledge it had no curse words in the whole album so I could play it and tell my parents that and they would leave me alone for the evening :)

Putting 10 to 15 year old little girls in front of crowds of grown ass rough male crowds in an industry that is dominated by darkness in its lyrics then you are up to something… no little girl should be marketed in leather and spikes to metal crowds. I would hope that non weirdo fans all stand up and act on the enlightened state that this conversation brings. And WHAT WE’RE THE GIRLS PARENTS DOING?!! 🤬

If you have neighbors like mine, any rogue drones will be shot out of the sky, lol. Everyone around me who has properties over 5 acres have shooting ranges. Kudos to choosing World Animal Protection for donations, I donated via yr Bandcamp! You're right about pets getting more help - over a thousand dogs were sent to the 3,700 acre Best Friends Sanctuary in Utah. We volunteer there just about every year. Regarding the Hypnagogic state, I'm reading the latest book by Haruki Murakami, The City and Its Uncertain Walls, which is all about the uncertainty of discerning dreams from reality, and your shadow from your real self. I liked that one part where your ghostly translucent image of yourself was looming over you like the demon-possessed character in Paranormal Activity. I'm less than halfway through the Murakami book (700+ pages), so not sure if I recommend this one yet, but most of his books are surreal and dream-like. I never finished the Twin Peaks series, and the only way to watch them now seems to be to buy the blu-rays, so I'm thinking about it. There's a new version coming out Feb 3 that has loads of extras, but for some reason only EP 8 of The Return for some reason.

I love when you do these movie director tributes, like the one you did for Friedkin. By the way... Mulholland Drive was one of the movies I enjoyed the most in 2024 (hadnt watch it in MANY years). Cheers from Argentina, Nate!

My introduction to Lynch was watching 'Blue Velvet' in the cinema early '87, and to this day, it remains my favorite work by Lynch. The Frank Booth character (Dennis Hopper) is quite frankly one of truly 'sickest' in movie history: '..one f*cking well-dressed man!' 🤗 ..and in a metal related Lynch connection, I love how he very effectively worked in the Powermad 'Slaughterhouse' track into 'Wild at Heart'. 🤘 You mentioned 'Don't Look Now', one of my favorite films of all time; Nicholas Roeg was one of the few film directors, that at his best, could equal Lynch. 👌
