Hi Danny I’ve just discovered your channel and want to tell you how much I admire your style. I’ve been struggling to make the foliage in my own sketches convincing, or something I’m happy with, and am going to try again in somewhat your style. Everything looks so lovely that you produce. I’m not sure if you’ve given up making these videos now, as this latest one is one year ago, and if so, I’m sorry for that, having just found you, but wish you all the best in whatever you are creating now, and are having the greatest fun. Take care, sue.

Really lovely sketchbook tour, I especially liked the Malta sketches. My wife is half-Maltese and we're fortunate to have family there so we return every few years. I've only recently started to play with urban sketching so I look forward to my next visit :) Really love your use of foreground elements to carve out some negative space as a framing device, it's really effective

Is it possible to cut the on going background music Danny. I've only found your channel however having listened to 3 minutes the music gets irritating. Maybe I'm the only one who finds it a problem. Sorry if I am.

Hello Danny! Love your artwork and you explain your process so well. Your voice is very soothing as well. Thanks for sharing your process. Would love to have more instructional videos on your process from start to finish. I checked your website thinking about taking a course with you but it wasn’t in English. Do you have a way that I can translate it? Thank you.

I recommend drawing some of the old buildings in Berlin Rixdorf (the Bohemian Village, or Rixdorf, was a small community of Protestant refugees from Bohemia founded near Berlin in 1737). You will find many old buildings here and a blacksmith. But maybe you've already been there.

I used this to practice today. I painted three derelict Roman columns instead of the full building. I was mainly inspired by how you did the shrubs and trees. It looks great but mine lacked realism. More like a paisley scarf than trees but I am so taken by your work. Please post often. Thank you!

Hi Danny. Lovely sketch book that you made. I follow a lot of people who sketch, mainly urban sketchers, and they inspire me with their styles, but I find that my style is closest to yours, with all of the details. You have inspired me to leave white spaces, which I don’t do. Thanks for the tour.
