Hi Dan, Enjoyed your video on getting your 16 notes out for grading. And you have so many good ones. Wishing you the best on all of them. I had 8 notes of mine graded this past August at the coin and currency show in Rosemont by PMG. I just got back the last 5 notes two weeks ago. They came back close to what I thought they would be and some got a higher grade which is always good. I can text you later with more details about it if you like? Take care. 🙏 Bill 😎

Super cool bro! I'd love to visit it some day. Really liked the run down of the various banks in MN and the significance to each. CA nationals are often tough as well and seeing some from various towns I am acquainted with is joyous. There's a fellah from Iowa who is pretty involved with them currently and I believe has the largest collection of Iowa's from a living person currently. I'll text you his name for anonymity but might be worth reaching out for an interview on this topic as he's super knowledgable.

Really fun video! Question, did all these banks print and design their bills "in-house"? Or were there companies or printers they would order them from?
@PolarCurrency6 күн бұрын
Thanks Joe! All the notes were first printed by American & National Bank Note companies beginning in 1863/64 before the BEP started printing their own in the late 1860s. The banks would order what they needed from the U.S. Treasury and they would get them in 12 note sheets (2 wide, 6 long) and they (the Bank) would have to cut them up into individual notes. Design was all up to the BEP, etc.
