Last week, I went back to Season 1, Episode 1 and started from the beginning to bring everything back to the top of mind and am going to watch the entire series leading up to the movie release. It's bitter sweet to see it all come to an and but I'm grateful to be able to witness this journey!

Crazy how the Last kingdom had one of the best endings to a show ever, yet Game of thrones can have one of the worst and still be more known then this masterpiece

I won’t argue with you about the lack of attention TLK has received; it’s a great show that deserves to be talked about more. However, despite the crap ending which GoT was given, it had so many peaks from seasons 1 - 6 which TLK simply cannot match. The only peak of TLK that I recall that can compare to the best GoT had to offer was Alfred’s reconciliation with Uhtred, and then his passing in episode 9 of season 3. If you think I’m missing any, or if you just disagree, I’d love to hear your thoughts. But to finish up here, seasons 1 - 4, and certain episodes in seasons 5 and 6 of GoT were the absolute peak of television, so it makes sense why GoT is far more popular than TLK

Man I can't put into words how much I love The Last Kingdom. I'm getting ready to rewatch from the start, it's gonna be hard to say goodbye to this absolute masterpiece. The series finale completely broke me and had me bawling my eyes out, I have a feeling I should be expecting the same of the movie.

Yessss!!! I'm so so happy and excited for this! This series literally changed my life and started my obsession with Norse mythology and viking culture. And ALOT of tattoos lol Also, opened my eyes and ears to a whole new world of music for me. I'm so sad that this will be the end but I am forever grateful to have been able to watch such a beautiful cast and epic series! DESTINY IS ALL!!

Habe heute den Film gesehen. Der sehr gut an die Serie anknüpft. Er fesselt einen bis zum Schluss und man ist am Ende traurig dass es wirklich zu Ende ist. The Last Kingdom is one of the greatest TV shows that i have ever seen. It's been a blast watching this journey, though I am sad to see end. I'm sure it ends on a bang and true conclusion to this epic story. Uhtred, Finan and Sihtric are the best trio of characters i have seen since Aragorn, Gimli and Legolas of LOTR. Besides Uhtred, Finan has been my favorite character to watch a true loyal friend and fierce Irish Warrior. Sihtric, the most witty and respectable Viking warrior on the show. And finally Brida...the lovely warrior woman that shouldve been with Uhtred from beginning to end. All i can say is Thank you to the entire cast and crew for this excellent series and congrats on the movie i can not wait....Destiny is all!!!! P.s i hope one day the TV show i create someday will be just as good😁
