So the written recipe calls for 1 stick of butter but it looks like you used 2 sticks of butter in the video. Slightly confused.
@CrowMossChocolate10 күн бұрын
I realized that no one was going to want to make a huge batch, so I halved it in the written one :)

In the video did you pour the browned butter ? So, do you use 1 stick or 2 sticks of butter in total ?
@CrowMossChocolate15 күн бұрын
I did forget to film adding the cooled brown butter (I wish there was some way to edit an existing youtube video)! It's 1 stick of butter split between the two (crowandmoss.com/blogs/recipies-2/lets-make-brown-butter-pistachio-chocolate-chip-cookies).

I’ve seen a few of your videos and want to support your channel with my subscription! I’m curious about your story and why you are unique? What is your brand/motivation and why? Looking forward to the future of your channel👍👍
@CrowMossChocolateАй бұрын
Well, I'm not sure I am unique, but I try :) I want to make and share things that I like and hopefully encourage others as well!
@edenrose2866Ай бұрын
Wow! As a suggestion (of course, take or leave)-I think you could start every video with that! A lot of people can relate to not feeling unique and then join you on your motivation each video…potentially recognizing just how unique you (and they) are!

How do you stop water seeping through in these tins? mine always does even when wrapped in foil.
@CrowMossChocolateАй бұрын
Using tins either double wrapped in aluminum foil or that are completely solid (with no false bottom) should help!

The cookies look fab, and the combo of dark chocolate, pistachios and brown butter is right up my street. The emphasis on brown butter should have been more visual, as I dont know when you added it to the mixture?

Look so great! Going to try this plant-based as I have a family history of Cancer so need to avoid the estrogen and possible BLV in dairy and the lead and choline in eggs. Thanks for sharing

Thank you for this demo. I made this today, it tastes absolutely terrific, the filling is silky and just sweet enough, and the base has that subtle hint of orange. Delicious! I had to use a stand mixer for both the pastry and filling and it worked fine, though bringing the pastry together was a challenge because of how crumbly it was. On the second attempt I rolled it out on the parchment which helped in lifting and plopping it into the tin.
@CrowMossChocolate3 ай бұрын
Nice! Yeah, it's definitely a delicate crust. Keeping things rustic :)
