We NEED These in Fortnite Creative

Even with the release of UEFN, Fortnite Creators are used to spending hours MacGyvering together even the simplest of ideas in Fortnite Creative, but they shouldn’t have to! So today, we’re talking about 10 past and present Fortnite Mechanics we NEED in Fortnite Creative.

The one thing I want in creative is a device that changes the body of your skin. For example: Lets say you wanted to make a spy map, this device can be used to change your character's body into a suit. This can be so cool and can make roleplays much easier. And epic have done it before. In modes like Wicks Bounty and Bodyguard, your body does get changed to fit the theme.

Yeah, essentially lock people outfits to specific ones. That would definitely be a HUGE help in theming maps.

@@SeeDaveRuni’ma leave this as an suggestion but I would really love if Epic added a device around the shadow creatures where if you died you would turn into a shadow creature from 2020 fortnitemares (Midas revenge) and I think a game mode centered around the idea of you against the world would be pretty chaotic but fun think like reload with the shadows around the map every time a player died it would be really fun,cool

Something we really need is a device that lets you customise weapons in a similar fashion to the melee manager device, being able to change the stats(damage,fire rate and so on) as well as the rarity and name would add another dimension to creative maps

I’ve been wanting a Boss device for years, the ability to add bosses to your map, more preferably every boss that has been in the game besides collabs. Being able to add something like the Herald, Kado Thorne, Foundation, Midas, etc, and having the ability to change their settings and teams. The guard devices are only so limited, and you need 2.0 to change the skins. They also can’t use many weapons, or melee weapons, along with holding more than 1. I hope they add something similar soon..

Well... Luck just came to you. 3 weeks ago without telling everyone Fortnite added custom skins on IO guards and let's you select every item shop skin you want and you can even search up for them. (No Battlepasses or exclusive items). It would be hard adding bosses in but just select the opposite gender of skins that are not from the Battlepasse

Something that adds every boss to the spawner, for example if you wanted Midas you could select him, and it would spawn him in with his set weapon and health. It seems like an easy fix to me to fix chests the same mechanic that the item spawner has, in that you can either just drop the items you want into it (if you're in regular Creative) or just choose the content from a drop down menu (if you're in UEFN). Maybe that's a more complex process than I'm giving them credit for, but I think it'd 100% be worth the effort, given the impact it would have on map creativity.

It would definitely be a lot of fun, but might be a little weird to code for though, as you don't want it being able to move around parts of the map that should be immovable. That's why you don't see the gravity hammer in many maps, as it has a tendency to chuck all of your perfectly placed props into a different dimension lol.

2 things I can’t believe aren’t in creative yet that I really want is weather (Tornados, and thunderstorms) and the ZERO POINT, there is so much maps that would be cool to have the zero point with weather it’s the chapter 1 season X one or the chapter 2 season 5 zero point, I don’t understand why they never added it when they added the ch2 season 5 zero crystal gallery. Also going back there is so much poi’s that haven’t been added, I could name Atleast 15 unadded poi’s, like I wanted that one bowling poi from chapter 4 season 1 in creative and was so upset to never see it, and even popular poi’s like the grotto (ch2 season 2) and the reality tree (ch3 season 3) And my final thing I want is all the copyrighted weapons like the new marvel mythics to be added but sadly I know they will never be added.

LEGO has them still because there's still the Star Wars missions going on in that mode. They'll wrap that up eventually, and the lightsabers will almost certainly go with them. I imagine we're never going to get collab items officially in Creative, because A) if that partnership ever ends and/or there's changes to a contract, those items might have to be removed which would screw up any map using them and B) I don't think Disney and other companies would trust players to do whatever they wanted with their IPs in Creative.

That's a little tricky due to different restrictions with IPs. They don't wanna make rip-offs of items from their collab partners and risk ruining that relationship, unless it was something to was agreed upon by both partners.

The problem is that once an item is in Creative, the owner of that IP loses control over what happens to it. It's one thing to have a player dress up as Anakin Skywalker, it's another thing give them the tools to accurately recreate the scene where he murders the younglings.

Not necessarily required, because the structure and story of STW would still remain intact and playable in a form you wouldn't be able to recreate in Creative. So I think those of us, myself included, who purchased the full game, wouldn't feel like we were getting scammed. Additionally, there have been several games that were originally $60+ dollars on release that eventually went to free-to-play like Rainbow 6 Siege and Overwatch. I paid for both of those games at launch (I actually bought R6 twice, once for Xbox and again for PC), and I was happy to see them go free-to-play after so long.

I didn't mention it, because it's not going to happen. I've replied to several other people with the same comment, but essentially, Fortnite isn't going to get the rights to use other IPs in Creative simply because once it's in Creative, the IP owner has no control over how it's used. It's one thing to give players a character skin to play with. It's a whole other beast to give them full access to work with your IP in a sandbox.

Because I also do this full time for other larger channels, and I don't wanna burn out. I love making these videos and I'm currently working on another one, but I'm not willing to compromise on quality, my sanity, or my work life balance to have this channel pop off. There might come a time in the future where I can full focus on this channel a lot more, but for now I'm not. I truly appreciate everyone who sees the potential in my channel and wants to see me grow, and I hope you stick around even while content output is a bit slower.

Fortnite’s so called “failed” mechanics that never make it after a chapter or season would absolutely be crazy fun in creative. Like the natural disasters in chapter 3. It would be so fun to survive a disaster. And I’m speaking from experience because roblox has a game with the same motif. Not to mention the battle royale creative maps back in chapter 3. I have no idea why they removed them in chapter 5. It was like a better playground/battle lab mode all over again but you could actually change what happens on the map. And it was actually something that you could practice with without joining a real lobby. Hell why just stop at mechanics add everything else like guns and vehicles. First time I played creative I tried looking for the mech only for it to not be there. And guns like the overclocked pulse rifle and evochrome guns. Like where were they? So much of missed opportunities not putting them in creative. If you can’t use them let the players use them. There’s a reason why Creative is called Creative. Players who are creative create the most interesting and unique things with the limited things they get but imagine them with the unused mechanics of fortinite. So many cool and interesting maps would be created unlike the age of tycoons on Fortnite 😂 Like you couldn’t look on your tab without seeing a tycoon game. We need some variety.

Sorry, they weren't in Creative, they were available in Custom maps. People found a way of glitching weapons from that mode into BR using the tents. There's a number of videos on it from back then.

Yeah, you can basically get any model from Fortnite and add it to your map using something like Fortnite Porting, but it's the mechanics that would actually allow them to work like expected that we need most.

honestly Fortnite shouldnt bring the stw guns to creative, instead give us options to customize guns, because stw guns deal crazy amount of damage and are unbalanced for pvp
