Nice model and great flying. I met David Lockspeiser way back in the early 60's. I was in my early teens then, and my father worked with David at the, Dunsfold aerodrome. My parents held a dinner party with the Dunsfold pilots and I got introduced to them. The next day as I was cycling into our drive way from school, the Hawker Hurricane "The Last of the Many" flew over from Dunsfold and seeing me, waggled his wings. Brilliant memory! Great to see David being remembered with your model.

Your model flew better than the original! I understand that the original was designed for the main wing to intentionally flap like a bird’s wing. The “designer” was a con artist who had absolutely no aeronautical engineering training whatsoever.
