Yeah this song hits incredibly hard. It's my understanding that this is his story.

I have to say that I know Lara wrote the song. I would like to add that Josh Groban's rendition is almost a completely different song. It evokes a completely different emotion than Lara's version.

G’day mate, your new Aussie fan here! This is, without doubt my fave song from Lara, closely followed by Broken Vow and Love by Grace. I think something that people who watch and listen to Lara don’t mention is the AMAZING orchestra’s. I LOVE the violin. And notice how many instruments are used; ie; violins, the chimes, I love it! I noticed the goosebumps as I got them too first time I heard this! 😊

I’ve never come across your reactions, already I love the set up mate, HER enlarged, the artist, now that I have not seen. I brought this album when I had heard ONE song of hers in Australia in the late 90’s I think and it was Adiago. Actually brought the CD, I correct myself. And they weren’t cheap then, but fell in love with almost ALL the songs on the album. This, Adiago, Love by Grace and some others. Now before I say this I AM COMPLETELY STRAIGHT - BUT WHOMEVER LET YOU GO WAS A FOOL, AND YOU can see the emotion on your face. I too was deceived but it was THIS song actually that helped me let him go…and forgive him.
