Feel that pressure on your ankle? Aurora's grabbed it, down the hole you go!

This was shot in the basement of the Ole Bule Theater in Aurora's home town. The backdrops "flys" are re-used from a different play, the silk roses are also re-used. She dyed them black. If you look you will see the turntable she is dancing on she painted to look like the earth, and the clothes are just what she wore in this era. You can see next to the turntable are her shoes. She just came in, took of her shoes and started making one of the best videos ever. Real art does not need a 30 person production team. You will see this simpler production style in most of her videos. Great reaction. Looking forward to more Aurora. +1 sub.

Ha.... you're trapped! Captured by an amazing musician, lyricist and producer named Aurora. You have so much to discover and I am happy to follow you as you do so. You will receive so many suggestions for what to see next that I don't need to come up with some as well. With her live performance, she manages to take you away from the present and into a world where you can become yourself. Aurora's lyrics include domestic violence, open sexuality, climate change, love and whatever else you wanted to hear in them wrapped in a fantastic sound. Videos are pure art and she has the most wonderful fanbase I've seen so far. She has helped many people with her texts and beautiful being. Watch some of Aurora's interviews and documentary and you will understand what I mean. Nice reaction and welcome to the world of Aurora.

I'm so glad you enjoyed your first Aurora song - I think you would really enjoy Queendom, Inhale/Exhale, and Running with the Wolves - as starting points. Don't neglect her live performances - many times (almost always) they are at least as strong, if not stronger than the music videos - certainly offering a different view of the song.

She grew up playing in n the forest when she was a kid, and her parents rang a bell when they wanted her to come home 😄. There's a nice and very different version performed on National Geographic Earth Day in those same woods. Very occupied with the environment and all kinds of goodness. One of the best songs on her latest album, "Everything Matters", is somewhat about what you mentioned. Noticing all the wonders around us. At least that's what I get out of it. Great artist with a lot of sides to her.

Aurora is the total package - singer, songwriter, musician, dancer, producer/arranger, choreographer, and an absolutely lovely human being (and she’s just 27 years old!). She will often perform her songs quite differently - sometimes with her band, other times stripped down to just her and one instrument, a cappella, with full orchestra, etc. - so it is definitely worth listening to different versions of the same song. Also, her videos are mini-masterpieces as well. A short list of original songs for you to start with: Runaway - Nobel Peace Prize concert and her music video Through the Eyes of a Child - Nidarosdomen concert, my recommendation Live Stripped - VIVO UK Lift It Happened Quiet - Nidarosdomen concert, but I'd recommend the live at The Current version as well Churchyard - Live on KEXP Winter Bird - Nidarosdomen concert and her music video Murder Song 5,4,3,2,1 - Nobel Peace Prize Concert Lucky - Nidarosdomen concert Little Boy in the Grass - Nidarosdomen concert The Seed - Music Video, HAIK Concert The River - Music video, Live in Bergen 2020 Exist For Love - Music video, Daydreamer - Music video She also does some awesome covers: Life on Mars - David Bowie Believer - Imagine Dragons God is a Woman - Ariana Grande Across the Universe - John Lennon Teardrop - Massive Attack Rasputin - Boney M And of course anything from her latest album “The Gods we can Touch” which is pure gold!

As most of people recommended, you should watch (or see) her live, both performing and talking. Because she is a really special human. And then, on top of that, she has beautiful voice and masterful music and lyrics. And she is a dancer :) And a painter :D. Yes, great reaction to my favorite artist. She is the complete package of unique, authentic and wonderfully weird, the complete name of her fan base is Warriors and Weirdos. She is multi talented lyrical genius with hauntingly beautiful vocals (that was her on the studio version harmonizing with herself). Her live performances are a must, she is a masterful storyteller, she emotes each emotion of her song (her children she calls them). Her songs have meaningful messages and she is a big time nature lover. Her next album coming out in June features the artist "Nature" which means her royalties will be shared with the world conservation organization that gets those royalties, she puts her money where her mouth is. Love her personality, she is truly a caring, quirky human. Any song is wonderful, live is best. What would you like me to recommend, upbeat or melancholy, she has a lot of haunting, beautiful, melancholy songs and other more upbeat, she really is her own genre.

After seeing your reaction to this, you're in for quite a treat if you stay on an Aurora journey. She's a very special artist and person. I know some of you more established reactors can "forget" about artists they really like, because there is so much out there, but I really hope to see more of Aurora on your channel. I like that you're connected to nature, as Aurora is. Some other really popular songs from Aurora that deal with nature are "Exhale Inhale" (Vevo live) and "Apple Tree" (music video). Oh, and her latest single, "A Soul with No King - Remix" which features actual nature sounds from Aurora's homeland in Norway. And she actually did a concert in a forest (also close to her home) that was freaking cool, as part of the HAIK documentary + concert. Probably the most popular live version of "The Seed" at that one.

Both amazing😍😍 Aurora herself says that a great place to start with her discography is with her breakthrough song “Runaway”, which she wrote when she was 11 years old. I will never understand people who are stopping the videos they react to for nonsense talk. wait until the end for talk, and experience the music as a whole so it sucks you in to it. The reaction comes trough your facial expression, the feelings that comes through you.
@AlisonReacts6 ай бұрын
If I were to wait until the end is more than likely not be able to upload the video without having copyrighting issues or without any monetisation. It differs person to person and edit to edit but most of the time reactors do need to pause every so often for the video to even be allowed on KZbin. If I waited until the end of each song I’d also lose the thoughts I was having. For this channel people tend to enjoy my descriptiveness or thoughts as they’re expressed. And that’s how I enjoy it too. And considering I edit these back and end up knowing the songs about as well as anyone after, Id say im still absorbing it quite a bit. Thanks for your feedback, but that’s why my channels like this anyway. Some find it nonsense, others don’t. 🤷🏻♀️
@AlisonReacts6 ай бұрын
Believe me, I wish I COULD leave the songs longer before pausing - but until I’ve uploaded a few videos with a certain artist, I can’t gauge whether I’ll be able to avoiding pausing their future videos. Like I’ve been able to do for others.

As a little girl in Norway she spent a lot of time in the forest with the animals day and night and has always been “special.” She was terrified of performing at first but wanted to share her music and thoughts. She shows her youth and emotions much more in her earlier songs. One of her most upbeat songs is Cure For Me. But as always with her with a deeper message. It’s a protest against conversion therapy practiced in some countries to “cure” homosexuality. She’s bisexual and regardless of what anyone thinks of that they should respect her courage. I’m hetero and I do. BTW you are so pretty! But I’m 75 and tired of young hotties lusting after my body alla time so don’t get any ideas.😊
