Thanks for this video! But what if only hot air is blowing on both sides (driver and passenger), which actuator(s) needs to be replaced?

This sounds so silly, but do I have to turn The machine off when I’m at 2 ounces, or will it stop on its own?? When I make a shot vs a double shot, how many of the scoops that come with the machine??

That's how you mess up your wheel stud people! You should put the lug nuts back onto the studs by hand tightening first with your fingers to make sure you are not cross threading.

problem is with a thick steak the butter, garlic, and thyme are going to burn way before it reaches 135 internal so I've found I need to cook it in the oil for a good amount of time before adding the rest

I may try coffee as I need to dye a lace slip. I have also used black tea in the past. I fell in love with these gorgeous lace wedding shoes for my wedding but they only came in white and not ivory to match my dress. I dunked them in brewed tea several times and they turned out perfectly ivory.

Olive oil (yes, low smoke point) or avocado ... and I save the butter / blue cheese for after they're out of the pan and on a nice sized cutting board ... for several minutes underneath foil

Bro… that Mr. thing is junk. You’ll never get a Starbuck’s like shot from that. Not enough heat, not enough pressure. Check the specs. A 20 yr old Barista machine will run circles around that thing. 😂

Thank you! You saved so much time for me! But I got sloppy and broke the knob/pin of the hot and cold actuator when I was removing it… yeah, bad situation. I have tried to figure out how to remove it but no luck. Any idea how to remove and replace that pin and what the part number I have to look for?

I'm sure this steak was delicious, and I'm adding this comment for viewers who may be less experienced in cooking this cut. The tenderizer you added is MSG -- totally unneeded for a well-marbled flat iron like this. Just add salt and pepper. One thing you didn't mention is to set the meat on a countertop long enough to come to room temperature before it hits the heat. You'll get a much nicer crust and more even cook. I have much more predictable results using a very hot cast-iron skillet instead of a grill (though I have to manage my smoke alarms). While the rosemary-garlic butter is probably delicious, an even easier approach is to drop about 2 tablespoons into the hot skillet near the end of the cook. Baste the steak with the butter as it melts. The butter will brown a bit and deglaze the skillet. Add the pan juices to the juice that runs off during resting and you have a rich and delicious sauce to drizzle over the meat after you've cut it. I don't mean to sound critical -- it's just that a flat-iron steak is an affordable, easy and delicious meal when you have limited time and money.
