Just got the Mr. Coffee One-Touch Coffeehouse. Will definitely experiment your recipe with it soon in time for December but also try to keep layers as well! Thanks for this!

Hope you enjoy it! The One-Touch is a real awesome machine. My brother in law has one, and I love using it when I visit. It's way easier and faster than the machine I have =) Also, a touch of peppermint syrup/extract helps turn this into a tasty festive peppermint mocha, Enjoy!

Would be nice to know what one gets from more expensive Espresso machines.
@savorwithdmurph11133 жыл бұрын
I think that would be mainly temperature, pressure, and timing. There is a perfect temperature/pressure/timing range for the best espresso shot and the more you pay the closer you get to that (as well as all the extra features and quality of material). For example, I just upgraded to a Delonghi (cost about twice as much as the Mr. Coffee I use in my videos) and it is easier to use and pours better shots but the difference in quality of the espresso shot isn't a major difference.

Thank you for sharing. Trying to decide if I need a 900 dollar espresso machine.
@savorwithdmurph11134 жыл бұрын
If you really love espresso a $900 dollar machine could be fun! I just upgraded mine. The new machine makes better espresso but the pour time is very sensitive to amount, grind, etc. what are you looking at?

@@savorwithdmurph1113 , looking at the Phillips espresso 3200. My neighbors bought one and the taste is amazing. Now I'm trying to drink mine from home and thinking it isn't that great. I was buying a 6 dollar drink and a 2 dollar truck stop coffee a day.

I see why you're looking to spend $900 on an automatic. Looks like your current coffee budget was just shy of 3K a year. Overall, I think you'll save if you do yours at home, even with an automatic. Coffee shops usually spend big $ on their machines hence the markup. What are you working with at the moment?

Unfortunately, ConAgra changed the Swiss Miss recipe and it's shit now. Disgusting. Go with Nestle' Rich (Milk) Chocolate powder. BTW, get Torani 'Pure Made' sauce, not made with HFCS like Hershey's. Step up your espresso game to La Pavoni or Gaggia, you'll never look back.
