Yeah, I think I'll send Adidas a careful Email... Not sure about the Neo Vista comparison. I haven't run in that shoe but it is a much heavier and training-focused shoe where this is a Racing Machine really.

It's always a bit hard to judge of course whether you're getting a lot of benefit from the Carbon Rods at slower paces. But really, a 2-hour HM is not that slow;) In general, the Pro 4 is definitely a much faster shoe though. Just beware, the heel isn't the most stable design: Soft foam and not a very wide base back there. Just something to keep in mind.

I've found that shoe weights scale quite differently in larger sizes. Of the ones you mentioned, I only have the Vaporfly 2 and 3 and they are all identical to the AP4 with 175g.

Thanks for the list! The Alphafly 3 for example is 182g for me(I sold my pair ages ago, never liked it much). Vaporflys are all around 175g as is this AP4. So technically they're lighter but 7g is not really noticeable. With your Alphafly 3 at 223-228g, the VF is almost 30g lighter, so that is quite different. Totally understand with the Shoe Hobby haha. I'm the same of course. I just don't buy all that many Carbon Race Shoes, as I don't really use them enough to justify having that many.

@@robin29991 No problem. And apparently the new VF4 coming out in April is rumoured to be 190g for a US10 so it will become even lighter in comparison to the AF3.

Yeah, very keen on the VF4! The Endorphin Elite 2 is also on the top of my list. I love the v1 but interestingly that one is 198g, so considerably heavier than the Vaporfly and AP4.

Just send an email with photos. It should be enough to see what they would do. I don't want to believe that after seeing two stripes getting loose they would still play dumb and need an inspection before honoring their return policy but I might be in for a surprise :P Cheers!

Serious Mental Toughness there running a HM on a Treadmill! I had the Alphafly 3 back in February or so and wasn't impressed... This is also a very soft shoe but feels much more aggressive.

They should really. These things always take a few weeks though, right? I kind of want to keep tue shoe here as I like it so much. Unfortunately no Adidas Store here that I know of.

Interesting, didn't know about that. Of course this shoe is already so light that it doesn't need to lose weight in any way. Maybe they could have saved a few more grams but not much. I actually used it in a Track Session last night. It was a bit wet and grimy and didn't have any issues there. In fact the show was so good, that I think I'll want to reserve it for key Workouts and Races now...

A lot of this was filmed the University Campus. Lots of cool little spots there like the stairs at the end. Yeah, I think I'll do a comparison soon of the Pro 4 vs a few other shoes...

Yeah, disappointing...😔 I did a Track Session in it last night and now even have a second stripe that is getting loose at the edges! Time will tell in terms of durability. But it will be a while until I can comment on that. I think I will reserve it for Races now, so won't run a whole lot more mileage in it.

It was a Sunday. Wait, are stores normally open on Sunday in the UK? It's actually very hard to say for me right now if I would choose this or the Evo 1. I think I might go for the Evo just for the extra lightness. But otherwise, in terms of performance and times, I doubt there is much of a difference. I sure hope they fit you alright and in that case very much look forward to hearing your thoughts. I'm very excited about this one...

@ yeah most stores like Lidl are open every day in UK but just with shorter hours on a Sunday. Hoping can make the AP4 fit. Buzzing for some goal pace work albeit maybe not on towpaths in the white/black version like you.

Yeah, more bounce and the Energy Rods make this a much more aggressive shoe. You know I absolutely love the Evo SL but they're not really comparable. This is definitely a Racer vs a Training Shoe.

Such an expensive shoe though. I guess at this point, I might just wait for a v3 as the 2 is never discounted anyway.

It's pretty hilly but I do have some relatively flat routes through the city as well:) Asics ist just not my favorite brand somehow... Just not that appealing for me to spend this kind of money on this model when it's not all that new anymore.

Noticed as well that the outsole doesn't quite have the 'bite' into wet roads as some other shoes. But certainly not a serious issue and never felt like I was really sliding around. It's okay for me. Obviously nothing too revolutionary left to say on this shoe but just good to give an update on it and prove that I have actually been using it beyond my First Fmpressions Video.

I'd say it's somewhere between super soft and super bouncy. Nicely balanced and well refined shoe. Nothing too extreme about it. Should work well for most runners. Yeah, this was a bit creepy...

No, mostly just a matter of the right time of day and sometimes waiting for the empty shot or working around other people. I do hardly anything in Post Production apart from Cutting of course and adjusting Audio Levels here and there. Everything you see is exactly how it comes out of the camera.

Yeah, they're great. Just wouldn't use them for anything fast personally. But if I stick with them in my easy zone, they work really well and I think the light weight helps a lot.

I have actually run in the NB3. But only one single run and that was a long time ago now... Only thing I remember is I didn't like it. I sold it pretty quickly. This feels like a much more complete shoe. Yeah, this was a pretty creepy place and fog. If I didn't know my way around there, I would surely have gotten lost!

It's not always this empty in Düsseldorf though;) Nice, if you like the Sen and the Pro, this should fit right in.

Yeah, this is such a great shoe. Though have to be honest, the Evo SL has taken over its role a bit for me recently so I haven't been using it quite as much. I see you got the Ekiden colorway, absolutely love that one.

Yeah same testing the EVO SL out now. Adidas is going to cannibalize the remaining Pro 3 stock once this officially releases. Yeah the color way was too sick. I probably should have gotten the Brooks Glycerin Max instead of a second pair hahaha

Nice, I'm very impressed by this so far. If you like the Alphafly, this is equally as soft if not even softer.

Great price. Honestly, even the Retail Price is a good deal. It's nothing spectacular but, like you said, a 'mileage eater'.

It does look like a decent Shoe. But honestly it's not really been at the top of my list... Let's see how they continue to develop this model.

On the Evo SL vs ZF6: I think I prefer the Evo SL because it's just a bit lighter and more flex without the plate. But I think in terms of Speedwork, there's not much in it. Yeah, it's just an inexpensive and simple ride to get the run done. But I do think, compared to the standard Daily Trainer like the Pegasus or Brooks Ghost, this is still a more exciting shoe. The Lightstrike Pro and the light weight just give it a bit more life.

Just got the ekiden, not everyone’s cup of tea but it was a good price. Excited to try it out!

@@GabrielRodriguez-ko9qg think it is the sort of shoe that is just good to get a pair in any colour. I got the Kipchoge one largely as only one available at time but do think that is OK. That Ekiden colorway Paula Radcliffe wore for her then 2003 marathon WR in some Streak flat. Fast then!

Yeah, beautiful open Cycling Lanes here. This was actually the place I did my Vomero 5 video in back in the Summer. I do agree the current colorways are a bit boring except for maybe your orange Kipchoge one. This white/pink looks like something we already had from Nike ages ago.

Aww, Thanks! Yeah, this is a great shoe for first Carbon. Not all out aggressiveness and doesn't break the bank either, but you get a 'feel' for the type of shoe.

I also watch the FOD runner but I think I prefer your training environment over the 'Industrial Estate' though to be fair he does head off to the trails a lot too. Unfortunately, my environment is more like the Industrial Estate though if I run further I can find myself in some parkways.
