@@itsdjQuasar I spent 25 years patch diving from the device/patch browser on the left. The new, modal browser (including the initial slowness, which is getting better) has thrown my ability to achieve a creative flow state into a smoking hot mess.

@@ChrisMills-AmbientSpace I hear ya. Definitely some adjustments. My lament is that they literally switched the behavior for CTRL+Scroll Wheel and CTRL+SHIFT+Scroll wheel. Maddening. I’m used to it now. The new browser is handy, though, when you are looking for samples. The filtering is pretty handy.

@@itsdjQuasar it pushed me into Bitwig which I am enjoying for having the modularity and flexibility that is found in VCV Rack, but in the app coupled with being able to simultaneously edit multiple automation lanes across multiple tracks. I do this constantly for editing the expression of Swam French Horns and I am rediscovering my flow state. The downside of this change is no native support for REX files and channel jumping/juggling in Dr OctoRex is heavily obscured.

I wish they had a linked mode that let you pattern sequence up to 8 notes using both of the channels without needing to muck about with the high/low note input ranges. And for some reason I still reach for RPG-8 before this one if I need an arp. I got spoiled using Bitwig's arp...
